I like how beyond just the girls that are strong in battle they show students that are strong in other ways, like Yuzu here is not only a master pilot but one of the biggest strategic geniuses in BA

I have to assume such a direct reference to suicide would be considered too inappropriate (developers and primary audiences are East Asian.)

It would also probably be rather out-of-place - think of a Skyrim adaptation that would have to insert the line "I used to be an adventurer like you, but then I took an arrow to the knee" somewhere. And even then it's a line from the original property, and not something popularized on Twitter.

Something like this, would still absolutely be kino:
Hoshino: "I love being alive."
Serika: "WHAT?!"
Shiroko: "Is that not a good thing?"
Ayane: "Of course. I think Serika just meant... that it came out of nowhere."
Nonomi: "It's easier to be happy, when eating delicious food."

Yuzu not a master pilot or at least not a mech pilot as seen in that video clip. Yuzu is a master gamer which Rio had known to install that backup gaming setup for Yuzu
 
Blue Archive global posted their developer letter with expectation on what's to come. (It was posted on twitter but because the H-1Bs in Twitter office too busy increasing izzat, the image quality is fucked so it's the nexon forum post.)

It's mostly atypical developer letter, with one of the highlight being the referenced the Koyuki hacking shenanigans that happened last year.

In any case, they mostly mentioned about doing korean dub of the main story (I completely forgot it's a thing, and apparently they're up to eden treaty now?) and preparing for the things that we will get in future thanks to looking at what the japanese server is getting beforehand.

As a gift, they are giving senseis daily gift starting today and ends at 20th february. Make sure to get them before its too late.

BA is definitely up there when it comes to how easy it is to earn the gacha currency. Juuuuuust because of that though, it's 200 pulls for 1 guaranteed copy of a banner character (spark) with no pity system as you all know. Back in the early days on JP it was 300 as well but I think they changed it after the first Trinity summer event or the bunny girl event, meaning 36000 pyroxenes for one guaranteed copy. Horrifying.
