With toki already getting a third variant in the Decagrammaton event, Are we essentially guaranteed that we will never get uniform Toki?
Most likely, unless they go back and make some NPC only variants from the past playable there is no precedent.

Considering that there's so far been somewhat of a limit for a total of 3 alt versions per character, it's very unlikely that we will ever receive a uniform Toki. There are still plenty of characters that have only 1 version, even though some have received a 2nd alt over the years.

I don't know how feasible this is, but FGO used to do alts for a while before they introduced "costumes" in the form of something you can unlock to change characters' base appearance.

Of course, the downside to this is that you don't need to pull for new characters, which means less Pyros spent, which means less Pyros bought. It is a gacha game after all, even if they're fairly generous. And it's guaranteed that if something can be obtained via grinding, JP will grind for days on end for it.

That's why you make cosmetics also a gacha, though by now it's very late to implement.

By looks there are 4 variants of Shiroko but by technicality there are 3 Shirokos and one separate Shiroko*Terror. I don't know if that says anything tbh.

The only time I can see Abydos getting more alts is Ayane and Serika's involvement in the Trinity carnival and Serenade Promenade already got rerun with no new students...

Yeah because Shiroko*Terror is a different character.

God, I am desperate for Idol Serika and Idol Ayane (but specifically Idol Serika). I have a horrible feeling that with the sabotage done to Hoshino and Abydos' storyline in V1C3 that we'll never get that.

True and even then if someone's gonna break it it's gonna be Abydos first and/or Hina.
My three bets are:
  • Abydos Student, likely Shiroko or Hoshino.
  • Hina
  • Yuuka

They didn't add any of the alt costumes from Serenade Promenade rerun, there might still be hope.

Since V1C3 was mentioned, I'm going to bring up the read order for the Nth time, this time with (hopefully) an actually useful advice, to a new player, that doesn't involve directing them to a 3rd party website:

Event Recap -> Guide Task

When sorted with "Default" they are listen in the order that (aside from the Decagrammaton stuff) matches what is described here.

V4C1 in the middle of V3 is not intuitive, but makes sense for pacing and worldbuilding (I'm pretty there's a timeskip between the first part of V3 and Eden Treaty arc, during which V4C1 takes place. Aside from letting the Trinity storyline to breathe a little bit, V4 explains that while Kivotos technically has central government and police force, they're insufficient to do much else than maintaining order in the "neutral" areas that don't have any non-Valkyrie academy to provide military or paramilitary force.)

V4C2: very clearly takes place immediately (or at most few days) after events of Volume F, and deals with the aftermath and multiple "loose ends."
V5C1: is not too chronologically dependent (other than Kuzunoha arc?)
V3C1: for anyone who hasn't read it yet, I would encourage going in blind and forming your own opinion. I ended up reading it immediately after VF because it was listed first, which was not ideal. To use a rough analogy, it was kind of like expecting to watch 'The Empire Strikes Back' but getting stuck on a Prequel Trilogy marathon.
V5C2: Other than obviously being a direct sequel to first chapter, it also connects to V3C1 through Kuzunoha.

V6: only needs V3 cleared, but there's a strong implication that a relatively long while has passed. Sensei/player is even, to some extent, blamed for ignoring/neglecting Arius. This is a bit awkward because the out-of-universe reason for this is obviously that the writing team (or rather, whoever is in charge) decided to do other stories over Arius until now. Reading between the lines, an in-universe explanation could be that Sensei trusted Nagisa to handle it. Based on what we've seen so far (on Global) it's hard to argue that she hasn't done at least a decent job, considering the circumstances.

As for chapter 6, I liked it. I liked the trials and tribulations Subaru and the gang went through and I am happy that progress has been made with Arius. I hope there will be more interactions betwwen Arius and Trinity students from now. I liked this episode because it gives you disclosure of alot of characters that went through their own individual arcs that were fun to read. Pandemonium Society has been getting alot of hype lately so here is hoping for a Gehenna chapter.

By the way is it me, or did this chapter have alot of spelling/grammar issues?
