As is typical for zuckshit Threads is a victim of terrible marketing and being too little, too late in a futile attempt to hop on the bandwagon. It's only being promoted to boomers on facebook in the form of "highlights" showing part of a viral post and requiring you to register to view the full thing, at which point 99.999% of facebook users will just fuck off. Zuck also picked the absolute worst possible time to launch it, with several other major twatter clones trying to steal a portion of twatter's userbase at the same time. You can either stick with the normie name brand X that actually has users and genuine activity, or you can choose the tranny hugbox bluesky, or you can choose the hyper autismo hugbox mastodon/fediverse, but there's absolutely no reason for anyone to choose threads.
