Insufferable fudge packer George Takei becomes the second person on Bluesky to have a million followers. He unironically calls it "The Good Place" and can't help but use his faggy catchphrase. Say it again, Bart!

It’s his 88th birthday? I think this requires a heil from me.

Heil happy birthday to you!

I hate that faggot so much, it's unreal.

Somehow, though, he still manages not to be the most annoying part of the Bluesky landscape. That distinction goes (imo) to the infamous Lakota Man, who, despite all his whining, still has his Twitter page up and running. Assuming it's even a real person. And I say "landscape" because I swear only 5~10 accounts ever even post. 20 million users and counting--supposedly--yet it has the same eerie barren feeling as an abandoned forum from 2011.

I created a Bluesky account around Thanksgiving (?), so, funny enough, the first two posts I saw were George Takei making a sex joke about cranberry jelly and "Lakota Man" yapping about muh stolen land. How he doesn't get tired of posting the same shit every day, I don't know. Reinforcing a character limit on Bluesky was a shit idea because now, every single post on there literally reads like a bot post. It's sort of like Instagram (photo + brief caption) yet just feels utterly soulless in a way even IG doesn't.

Also, I'm ashamed to admit that I created that account in earnest! Because there were so many posts from journos and writers talking about how they get "sooo much more engagement" on Bluesky than Xitter, and how it was easier to develop a following there than on more established platforms. I decided to test it out and it was, naturally, bullshit. Not to mention that the site itself was so broken that I had to wait a full day to be able to set a username, because on the first day it would crash every time I tried. Same went for the profile picture and banner. It's less efficient than a beginner HTML project.

Lakota Man is just some faggot grifter doing the Proud NDN bit to collect a paycheck from Elon. I'm not sure if he's a real Lakota or not. A lot of other natives hate him. Half for his grifting, other half out of jealousy they didn't do it first.

There are quite a few of these posts circulating around BlueSky.
We need our best autists to scientifically analyse the percentage of BlueSky posts that are malding about Twitter and vice versa.

I'm not a betting man, but I think I know who's coming out on top.
Bluesky users are taking the Meta news with their normal level of calmness and sanity:
