Would anyone on xitter drop a tear if the McDonalds official account left the site? people use platforms because other people, if the corpos/journos/feds think everyone else is gonna miss them, they're delusional as hell. The only way to have users leave twitter is to kill it via some manufactured scandal, forced takeover or other kind of dirty tactics. Bluesky is way too 'no-fun-allowed' to succeed, even hugboxes like reddit offer more entertainment to the average internet denizen than whatever bluesky could offer them. Its current appeal is only LARPing as a stalinist commissar, which limits its reach to trannies and commies. The site's ceiling is becoming a more affluent ResetEra if the bosses don't tone down the insanity soon.
