One of you autists poked a guy I'm in a Discord server with. Dunno how unless you're just sending this to random accounts, he's just some guy who posts kaijus and fairly inoffensive art he commissions, but it the server's resident trannoid slightly mad.

The replies are fucking gold. They're either proudly participating in an echo chamber or completely in denial about it.

If the idea is to create a safe space for the like-minded – in politics and in affinity for scolding – then fair enough. But if the aim is to defeat authoritarianism, I’m not persuaded that Bluesky helps. It’s not just that the platform as it currently exists sheds no light on why Mr. Trump won. It’s that left-liberal smugness was part of the problem. And you can’t point that out on a platform going all in on the same.
All you do when making a social media site nothing but a safe space, you just end up creating an authoritarian regime. It's fucking impossible to create a safe space without limiting what people can or cannot say. No matter how much these queers try acting like 20 million users is a sign twitter is at a end, normies are not gonna be interested in a site where they can get banned for liking something as simple as the UFC.

Either these retards need to let some people they don't like in or risk having their website become Gab 2.0

Obvious hugbox website is a hugbox website. Nobody's going to move to your website just because you seethe about twitter. It didn't happen with Gab, Parler, Gettr, Minds, the Fediverse, Threads, etc. What makes bluesky users think they're so special.

Social media is also inherently going to attract toxicity because of how it's set up. Especially a Twitter-style platform where the small character limit and likes/retweets system inherently encourages low effort inflammatory shit.

They did have the opportunity to design the platform differently but they ended up just making a straight up twitter clone, down to the same generic corpo interface and icons. This makes sense when you realize Jack Dorsey's only contribution to society is attempting to make people miserable because he despises humanity.

Yeah not a surprise, Journos like a website where no one questions them. It's just like their gay fucking office spaces they hid in every day while they circle jerking each other about how they're the real heroes of America.

If they stay there, and no one shares what they said elsewhere, nobody will hear them and they will fade to irrelevance.

>assume the troll account as kees h without doing further research
>dont even get bossmanjack slang and culture
>fuck kiwifarms forever without a second thought

Dewd, that nigga ain't nice bro. FUCK MY LIFE DEWD :lossmanjack:
bro be sensitive if they stayed on the site for longer than 3 seconds to do, well, literally any amount of work, their poor sensitive little hearts would have burst from the chest from the sheer anxiety of it all.

Why is it that leftists love Nintendo games so much that they use it to empower their delusional violent fantasies?
Ok, if I had to guess based on everything I know...

The first generation online to be obsessed with LGBT and LGBT/leftist themes grew up with the 5th and 6th generations of video game systems (N64, PS1, Saturn, Game Boy Color and GCN, PS2, OG Xbox, GBA respectively). This is especially apparent in how when these people created their own community spaces on art sites like SheezyArt and later social media like Tumblr and Twitter, there was a lot of fervor for games from that era.

The further away we get from the 1983 video game crash, the more that mainstream AAA video games have made efforts to make themselves feel less and less game-like in their presentation and UX. This would eventually come to its natural breaking point with Sony's entries into the "Over-the shoulder cinematic Ghost Train Ride" genre (Uncharted, The Last of Us, and God of War from 2018 onwards). On the other hand, you have a very passionate group of people who love video games that wear the fact that they're video games on their sleeves, and if you were to ask me which of the major mainstream publishers embodied this approach the most right now, it would be Nintendo.

PlayStation fans don't get excited for new games in quite the same way Nintendo fans do, dating all the way back to the 2000s. The most PS fans got hyped for anything was the one-two-three punch of Last Guardian, FFVII Remake, and Shenmue III at E3 2015. With the Wii U underselling at the same time Nintendo had their own social platform in Miiverse, Nintendo fans consolidated together into their own bubble (not unlike the bubble the company itself operates under). From here, when the Internet still had a semblance of political neutrality, a culture of hype and excitement began to form around new and upcoming games like Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart 8, Splatoon, and later on Breath of the Wild and the launch of the NX/Switch.

At the same time, the video game community landscape was going through massive sweeping changes thanks to GamerGate and the domino effect it started. Leftism began to take root in the community ultimately as a result of Nintendo fans wanted to do what they felt was the right thing morally (Gramsci). This would eventually lead to the rise of Nintendo fans further embracing their "outcast" nature by also adopting other labels that were considered "outcast" by the rest of the Internet and society at the time, such as feminism, being gay, or abolishing gender roles. And it wasn't just Nintendo fans, fans of pretty much anything that wasn't "Shooty McTriple-A" were prone to this. (Sonic the Hedgehog, indie platformers, JRPGs, fighting games, Japanese puzzle games, visual novels, boomer shooters, Team Fortress 2)

Considering most of these people grew up with Nintendo's games and games released for Nintendo hardware, and they didn't jump ship to Call of Duty, Halo, or GTA like a lot of their friends did, what you're left with is the literal definition of "nerds." As most of us all know, nerd culture would be seen as a primary target for cultural marxism in a post LoveWins world. Overlap between Nintendo fans, leftists, gays, and furries began to deepen thanks to the overreach Tumblr had at the time, and from there more and more people were gradually shifted leftward out of moral obligation, because "how dare we stand on the wrong side of history and support Hitler II: Orange Boogaloo".

When you look at how many Nintendo fans are leftists, you'll find that a majority of them are ones that grew up with the GameCube. By the time they were graduating high school and entering college, they were old enough to receive a sort-of political awakening by proxy either through GamerGate, LoveWins, or both. When the Switch exploded in popularity upon release, a lot of its early adopters were a part of this "uncool kids club"; people who, by this point, had already been through the wringer, and robbed of their masculinity or willingness to grow up mentally. A lot of these people are, at the end of the day, children, and thus are only able to understand complex issues like politics through the lens of a child or teenager.

They're only able to understand and process things through the lens of funny memes, or through the lens of video games (and by video games, I mean the kind that lean more towards the traditional style, rather than the AAA slop one). Hence, "Orange Man Bad" and "Trans Rights".

tl;dr: Millennials (and kids born in the late 90s if you want to be generous) are at the end of the day, "The generation that refused to grow up."

I've been a little curious about checking out the npc havens, but I've glanced at them before.

Imagine a Super Smash Bros competition or some sort of fedora convention where nobody showers and their collective reek is so bad that you take one step in the door and go the other direction.
They're like that, but verbally. And the stench is so bad it even makes normal people turn away.

It has nothing to do with being aligned with Nintendo or whatever. It's just the colleges, the schooling, that turns people into skeeters.

Bluesky seems to be composed mostly of hot house flower-special snowflake twits; the sorta people who complain on social media about nonsensical things "triggering them" & are currently boycotting a bunch of corporations for dumb trendy libtard reasons (which, when you think about, is how they ended up on Bluesky in the first place...)

How do they always come this close to getting it?
It's funny reading that in the context of Bluesky having a panic attack over the farms somehow monitoring their every move, because the sense of community the faggot journo is bloviating about is exactly what you find on the farms.

I have found no greater online community than this forum, united in an interest that truly transcends all boundaries and distinctions between people: laughing at weirdos. It attracts people from all walks of life with so many varied experiences, each bringing something to the table, and as long as you're not retarded, you'll fit right in (well, you can be retarded, just don't be a faggot). I've had loads of cordial conversations, I've learned many things here, and I've had quite a few laughs. And all that from a forum that is demonized everywhere else online as the worst examples of humanity possible, nothing more than a bunch of evil cyberterrorists that want to murder all trannies and minorities or something.

Meanwhile, what do you get on Bluesky? Despite the author's insistence that it's not, it's literally just Twitter but faggier and more retarded. Its users are still constantly going on about how it's so much better than Twitter, yet they can't get Elon out of their heads and continue to bitch about him and how he ruined their hugbox. And speaking of, Bluesky is a hugbox, with users spreading around easily accessible blocklists to quickly get rid of any harmful opinions, not to mention when they start pointing fingers at each other. Its base consists predominantly of retarded leftist tranny furry pedos who will spam your feed with ridiculous amounts of porn when they're not fedposting openly. And the structure continues to have all the issues that Twitter did, namely that it's impossible to actually have any kind of meaningful conversation whatsoever due to the format. And let's not forget all the technical problems they continue to have as the platform fumbles at handling a decent load now.

And I have to laugh at how he and many of its users are being so naive about how it's not being designed for profit, as though the devs are building it solely for the good of the community. Those servers won't pay for themselves, not to mention the salaries of everyone working there, and at some point they're going to have to start making money somehow unless some other billionaire swoops in and gives them a money printer, and even then they'd probably want to see some return since the era of free tech money is over. You want to see what it takes to run a website without ads? Look no further than right here.

What this journo can't even fathom wanting, likely because he never experienced it, is a return to the days of forums just like this one, where you can engage in discussion with others and actually form connections, not just scroll endlessly through engagement bait. Where it's your own personal choice to view topics that interest you, not have things fed to you through opaque algorithms. Where you can call people retarded faggots and not have to worry about a janny mopping up your post for hate speech. Yet at the same time, I'm sure he would be blindly cheering for our demise just like the rest of the faggot butterfly app's retarded users. Utterly stupid.

I love how the lefts plan after total, crushing electoral defeat is to: Remove themselves from the birthing pool with a sex ban and withdraw from public discourse to fight fascists in an irrelevant hugbox.
Truly such profound strategy could only come from the bulging minds of people who read New Scientist.

All you do when making a social media site nothing but a safe space, you just end up creating an authoritarian regime.
It also seems really pointless to do on a site/app that adopts the Twitter format. Having a echo chamber forum I completely get: you can neatly divide it into sections where people can go to discuss their particular interests without being bothered by shit they don't care about, but no matter how good your algorithms are it's almost impossible to neatly organise a micro-blogging UX like that. Even using something like Tweetdeck you'd end up with dozens and dozens of columns for different hashtags.

In the end, you're just going to end up with different varieties of retard all crawling over each other to try and be seen, like the zombie mountain in World War Z.

I wonder what's their answer when you ask them "Have you tried not looking at them?" but then, they think cyberbullying is real so...
