Bluesky - "Decentralized" Twitter Alternative. Leftist Tranny Hugbox. "Answer" to Elon Musk's "Fascist" Takeover of 𝕏 (Formerly Twitter).

Oh give this man the Sherlock Holmes award.

Good job cissy!

After weeks of astroturfing, Bluesky is growing and X is dying. Threads is destroying Bluesky by 35 million more subscribers just last week alone. Mark Zuckerberg still owns Threads and his pro-Trump and joined team MAGA before even Elon Musk.
Did anyone really think that BlueSky would ever surpass Threads, let alone Twitter. No matter how much these tards screech, they always be nothing more than vocal minority who are off-putting to everyone even remotely outside their sphere. The only well-known sites that BlueSky would ever replace are r/politics & old Tumblr.

If "Bluesky" is decentralized and open source, could someone make a different version: a "hate site", which allows freedom of speech?

The idea that freedom of speech is correlated heavily with hatred instead of the open forum of conversation - a true neutral - has been one of the most grim things about political takeovers of websites as a whole. Watching people grow increasingly psychotic about what speech should be "tolerated" is complete insanity, and serves only to protect thin-skinned bullies who are people who need to be put in their place the absolute most.

I'm hoping the next 4 years will see more of an open and proud backlash against such social control conceptually, but extremism is tempting for many, and most people seem content to go with the flow in silence rather than rock the boat. Dreadful; I long for the days where it was principles we shared, like no child going hungry or no elder freezing to death on the streets, and the main disagreement was on methods of achieving such goals.

Sorry to feelspost, Kiwis - the holidays often make one wistful.

Very eloquently put. Don't you dare apologize for casually dropping the best prose I've read in recent memory, this is the kind of writing that places this site leagues above the rest. Perhaps with the freaks, psychos, and predators fleeing and self-segregating after their extended and continued humiliation, we'll see more and more backlash begin to arise as the risk of life-ruination for internet words falls.

I noticed that too. I think the SJWs like to conflate dissent with hate, attempting to grift people into going SJW.

SJWs also frame any sites well known for allowing "freeze peach" as "full of hate speech and lies", and "bad guys"?

Someone already mentioned that you need to go through a humiliation ritual to actually get your instance federated, but to the best of my knowledge if they don't like your instance they can just shut it off from interacting with bsky by removing you from whatever big directory server they use. Unless you're buddy buddy with someone at bsky there is essentially no reason to build anything on their technology.
