Bluesky Safety doubles down on their moderation standards (archive). Admin Bans are for ToS violations only and are judged due to on-site behavior, not due to screeching mobs of people that already have a plethora of tools to block everyone they don't like. You can't just randomly accuse people of being a pedophile and expect them banned (I think lots of Bsky users wouldn't like that, seeing how many have sus pasts) People didn't like that.

Facts don't mean shit to troons. When a transphobe mentions that a kid identifies as an attack helicopter, that means he shared private health information. It's transfactual, in that it identifies as a fact even when its not.

What PHI are they even claiming was posted to Bluesky? It's not as if Singal's posting a bunch of topless children whose chests were mutilated. Though I suppose if he were, they would support it provided that he sang the praises of the butchers responsible.
I love when they cite PHI and HIPAA as if these are somehow iron-clad protections against all who oppose them. Fact check time, troons: HIPAA is only applicable to organizations who must adhere to it, which means things like your coworker telling another coworker "Dude, that new girl that showed up is pretending to be a guy" is not a HIPAA violation because identifying your birth sex accurately is not PHI and your coworkers are under no obligation to keep it a secret legally.

Further, HIPAA as a privacy rule is American, so other countries may not necessarily have to adhere to the same safeguards for PHI that American providers must. Sorry, foreign troons - you'll have to check your own equivalents to see if you can wield the law as a sword of Damocles against your enemies.

I don't know how the "private health information" was shared, did Singal post up HEY THIS IS THIS PERSON'S NAME AND ADDRESS or was it literally something that had the name and all identifying information redacted? I'm used to trannies on the internet being histrionic faggots over literally everything.

If they adopt the "whoever is the most blocked should be banned" rule then eventually everyone will be banned.
