I have cs6 performing acceptably enough under wine /linux that I’ve finally dumped my Mac even though it has a cracked and perfectly serviceable copy of creative cloud 2020. The trick is to use the “portable “ version , not the full cs6 or retail ps installer. Wish I’d have known that 5 years ago. I’m now done with apple and adobe.

I’ve already paid thousands in Adobe Taxes on “permanent “ licenses in my career that stop working over and over and over and over, before their rent seeking cloud racket… even in cases where the software would run, you can’t activate it anymore because they kept changing licensing hostnames and turning the old servers off. Or they just randomly remove your “permanent” entitlements from your order history after they have decided you’ve used them long enough. That’s why everyone hates Adobe.

Not to mention all the fucking Macs I have had to buy in 20 years, which themselves have a planned obsolescence problem and eat away at my piss poor razor thin profit margins.

To be free of domination, we must tear down dividing walls where they stand—at the borders of our nations, at the mekhitzah of our synagogues, at the gates of our homes and communities.
Tonight, as we sit together, there is a brick on the table to dismantle binaries and divisions wherever they stand and have stood.
