It is a lose-lose situation. Would suck to work there and have a large amount of renumeration tied to stock, now that the stock is 99% guaranteed to be worthless.

Unironically, they are kinda making Bluesky a better place. But then again, I can't help but shake the cynical edge that this was probably the plan all along. Flood the servers with all sorts of traffic, monitor the ecosystem, trim away problem parasites and prune away dying organic matter (this policy and more to come), repeat until the ecosystem is stable and independent.
 
But have they banned all of the worthless E-whore spammers trying to promote their onlyfans? There was well over 100 of those parasites on the platform when it was still invite only for fuck sake.

Tumblr was the place if you were a troon, fag, furry, fujoshit, or gooner. But then they wanted to be allowed back on the Apple App Store, and Tumblr had a massive CSAM problem, so they decided it was easiest to simply ban all NSFW material rather than do stupid shit like pay moderators or have basic security.
This was the death of Tumblr, for if there is no porn the terminally online degenerate cannot flourish. If Discord banned porn today the company would be dead by tomorrow.
