Ignoring the many, many other problems here, the political claim is telling. Restricting ANY sexual expression is not just censorship, but "conservative censorship". This implies they believe nothing on the left would ever nor should ever restrict sexuality, at all.
It's an outright claim that leftism can never hold back the worst excesses of sexualization. But after the last decade, can anyone claim otherwise? It's not conservatives complaining about the new rape porn restrictions--there aren't any on the platform. This is creating an objective identity of the left as unrestricted hedonists.

Honestly, I am surprised that this policy was even implemented. Ever since the 2024 election, BlueSky has been inundated with some of the most degenerate elements of the left (commie furries, anarchist troons, feminist men, etc.) who belong on some sort of sex offender registry.
However, these creatures are going to migrate to a different internet space to radiate their gooner/rape/incest/cp cancer, which will result in more crackdowns and censorship when it was not originally needed. This has long been one of the biggest problems with the American left: the celebration of any sort of deviation from the monogamous relationships that humans naturally form in order to have and raise children. It doesn't mean that consensual deviation by adults from that norm needs to be banned by the government, but it is utterly silly that outright hedonism is as celebrated as it is.

The attempt by predators to try and claim they're having their coping mechanism taken away is nauseating. There are people who cope through this kind of art, but they don't make it their entire personality. It's a private thing because it's an incredibly painful and personal thing for them. The people who suffered and used this as a coping mechanism are unaffected by a rule change on an already barren website. In fact, the people who use this sort of thing as outlet for their pain wouldn't fucking use Bluesky to begin with on account of the overwhelming amount of pedophiles and the (currently uncharged) sex offenders who call that platform their home. The ugly outcry over this is purely from sexpests.

I recall that there was a subreddit where people shared stories of rape and how it warped their views of sex. However, the Redditors there encouraged each other to "bait" men into raping them. Dunno why I remember this, I think I saw someone mention it on 4chan once or twice.

Everytime I see artistic interpretations of rape get banned on a site, people always get apprehensive and say that their freedoms are at risk. Dude, you complain about fascism and ethics and yet whenever something you don't like gets banned you get up in arms and leave. And then you say "X is dead" when they do this not knowing that you can host your own site or Mastodon instance where you can host such stuff.
Of course these people do not care if they kill Tumblr or BlueSky or whichever platform. All that matters is their selfishness, hypocrisy and their NSFW art which they want to stuff down everybody's throat.
I for one am happy that they implemented this rule and I wish more sites would do the same. I and many others do not want to look at art that basically says "rape is okay", especially when these people claim to be "anti-fascist" but do nothing to stop actual facism.
In fact, this is the reason why political movements are in the shitter. It doesn't matter how many facts you spit on social media or how many protests you go to, nobody does anything to instill real change. To them, the more Trump is in office, the more followers they get and the more likes they receive.
Like I'm fucking tired of inaction. If you're unwilling to step up for the cause then you should really rethink your life and wonder if posting on the internet is going to do you any good.

Hate to burst the collective bubbles of people speculating on the "I use rape porn to cope with trauma" stuff, but I guarantee almost all of these people were not actually raped and just use this line as a defense mechanism that sounds good enough to pass a normie sniff test. Trannies love rape porn because they love the thought of real women being hurt and killed.
They want investors and advertisers because the site runs completely at a loss right now. Advertisers are especially known for being risk averse and definitely would not want to put money into the CP and tranny rape porn site, so bluesky is shifting things around to try and be more palatable.
The issue for them is that they intentionally cultivated the CP and tranny rape porn posters because they thought they would be growing in an administration that was very pro-tranny. I think they just have no idea what to do at this point.
