I don't think they believe that. Not because it's untrue, but I think they react like this because there's far more at stake.
I should posit something - these trannies, the modern terminally online ones, are not just airheads living in a bubble or just freakish, mentally ill science experiments. I believe they are a manufactured political organisation. It's rigid thinking as Singal put it because it is politically invested to be. Everything that underpins this movement's existence is dependent on politically aligned institutional backing and cultural relevance, and transgenders as a demographic necessarily operate as a political party. Thing is, grifters who oppress themselves for fun aside, this is because they are actually politically vulnerable. We've seen this before - whenever a high-profile tranny is forced to give an answer on what they actually believe in, it collapses a huge part of the mythology, because they don't have a shared set of values or facts that define them as a group. It's all headcanon, and it means they're forced to cover themselves by extremes to avoid any sense of disunity.
And I suggest this to say that I've come to believe that the histrionics the true believers are having now is actually completely logical when you consider they have literally been manufactured to behave this way. Their ideology came from the Internet and some shady activist NGOs, their unregulated transitions benefited pharmaceutical companies, a medical establishment encouraging them with no barriers to completely redefine their identities at will, and a government and global watchdog that was literally lying to them while it voiced full throated support of their absolute rights to...whatever. Their culture, history and relevance is entirely online, and their self-conception is inflated and warped by digital fantasy. Modern trannies were arguably groomed into making these institutional factors the sum total of their personhood. They also, coincidently, became the ultimate voting bloc for the Left (the side with multiple officials and organizations pushing this) - a vaguely defined, yet all intersecting perfect minority that was both infinitely moral and infinitely oppressed, who unlike black people, pay for their entitlements, are politically engaged, and have no incentive to think for themselves.
As a political creation, trannies find Singal intolerable because questions are the enemy of politics. The irony is, Singal being willing to ask reasonable questions about their transitions does definitionally qualify as their form of genocide (in this case, erasure), and Bluesky finding this reasonable means they too believe inquiring into the possibility of genocide has merit. Now trannies are collectively trapped at endorsing rape porn presumably because a sizable minority transitioned because of it. Liz Fong-Jones (allegedly) tried to normalise child porn as 'kink exploration' to explain away a friend who had it on his laptop using this exact logic.
TL : DR, I don't think they're worried about their dominance so much as their own existence, because they're the same thing to them. The mildest pushback within a safe space is dangerous because the transgender movement is an entirely political construct, saying everything and meaning nothing by design. Allowing Singal, and thus, people who would ask these questions to use Bluesky, means...and I say this with absolutely no irony, they are indeed enabling trans genocide. The type of genocide where the Nazis would have vanished all the Jews off the face of the Earth if they just wished they'd go away.

Thinking about it. I was going to say, it would be amazing if they did the same thing to reddit. But modern day reddit, is somehow more cucked, and trooned out than bluesky. If the trannies freaked out wanting someone to be banned, reddit would absolutely ban them without thinking about it. I don't think there has been anyone at reddit with principles of any kind for 10 years at least.
Its sad how far it's fallen. Reddit was always kind of cringe le atheist. But it was at least fairly neutral back in the days of thedonald and before.

Ya know 10 years ago I met my wife specifically because of furry platforms like BlueSky. The two of us were really into being all over these social media platforms until we were banned by radical leftists on a furry website because I bullied a public zoophile. Then when Twitter went to shit, we both watched BlueSky and saw what a complete cringe-infested shit show it became.
We've since borderline rinsed furry culture out of our lives and just do our best to watch people descent into madness. While depressing, this has been an insane few years and this is another prime example of why people on the left have lost their mind.

The rape fetish is an extension of this mentality. I think the reason so many of them went rabid over this is because they're still reeling over the rape porn ban. It's like the TurdSky moderators just banned the end-goal and the starting point too; or at least, that's how they see it.
What really turns them on is having others submit to their will, their beliefs, their actions. This is what everything else about them is predicated on. They need to feel as though they're in in total control - it's a narcissistic mentality on steroids. If a man can walk up to you, say "I'm a woman," and you, without questioning it, immediately address him as "ma'am," then he knows everything else is a walk in the park. He can sleep in women's shelters, he can go into the women's change rooms, he can compete in women's sports, Hell - he can even rape women, and all of that is "okay" because he's the one in control.
That's why they react so madly whenever any modicum of their power or supposed authority comes into question. If they aren't allowed to do anything they want, or say whatever they want, or silence whoever they want, then what's next? They don't like the answer.

The way I hear it, while bsky does not have that much engagement, there's still a sizeable base of people that actually do interact (on aggregate, much more than twitter on % engagement), and quite a few seemed to have found that bsky was entirely sufficient at the moment.
That said, there's already a few quietly slinking back to twatter and going back to posting as if they never left, and that's much more telling than the "EVERYTHING IS JUST FINE AND DANDY" crowd on bsky.
