I think this is a more sensitive topic, but I really hate this using trauma as a sheild, because it means when actual survivors speak about their experiences, no one will end up believing them. On tumblr I used to see CSA and COCSA listed next to a list of mental illnesses, and even when I had a more tumblrish mindset, I was secretly uncomfortable with it. The only reason you would list something publicly like that, even on the internet, is if you wanted attention drawn to it. MOST survivors don't want their trauma out in the open, let alone to leverage for oppression points, and even those that do are sort of pressured into it because other "survivors" do it. That isn't even counting this weird recent trend where more and more things are counted as "trauma," when in reality they are just unpleasant experiences. And given the vulrenable demographic that is preyed on by these porn sick people.... larping as a survivor to groom, while trying to defend themselves as being oppressed is just... evil.
