I know a lot of people don't like Elon Musk, but you got to give him credit for pulling off the biggest cosmic sized shitpost ever by buying Twitter causing a cascade of hysterics by the left. Because right after the 2020 elections and Trump's eventual ban the following January, the smugness from the Left that they would dominate social media going forward. And that the smaller right wing twitter variants would fracture and ultimately make them irrelevant really has come full circle.

Also nice to see Google not mention anything about this in their news tab as if they're keeping the drama contained to not besmirched their progressive haven.

To maintain thread relevancy, please enjoy one of Cohost's devs - Jkap - trying to be some kind of voice of reason towards Graber as if his tranny furry ass has anything worth saying about anything ever.

Troons are completely delusional in how impactful their presence on the platform is.
The fail business model of bluesky is failing as shown by the metrics posted in the thread before, and I doubt that troon and goon squad is a significant part of the userbase (albeit very vocal one). They don't pay for the app, they don't have measured how much traffic they bring to the site, but I guess that bsky team do have this data, and that's why the CEO decided to oppose them.

They just THINK they made the app, because their whole troon n' poon echo chamber moved there.

Degen troon shit was chased off from their safe-heavens time and time again, and they still believe that their disgusting presence is crucial for a platform success, and not a detrimental death by 1000 cuts. Especially in a business model where you need to attract advertisers, and especially in AD 2025 where the political zeitgeist moved from sucking girl dick.

Troons don't understand business, and they don't understand the shift in public opinion about them, and I can't handle the high doses of schadenfreude I get from that.
