Is Mastadon still a thing? Even if it is, it's not normy enough for them to want to take it over. These freaks don't want their own space. They want to control the space that most normal people use.

Furries are overwhelmingly gay (or, more accurately, bisexual). There are reasons for this that have to do with some of the ways a person can acquire those tendencies. It's also sexual for almost 100% of them.

Aside from that, they're a lot like being gay because you get groomed into it as a child. Think about it. They're adults drawing and consuming porn of kids' cartoon and video game characters (I'm sorry if I'm apparently the person you had to learn this from). At what developmental stage do you suppose someone gets into a habit of consuming something like that?

Plenty of people might have feelings for those kinds of characters (even normal feelings) that they can't process when they're very young, but it's something you grow out of. Unless you're never given that chance.

Blacksky (from what i understand, anybody that is more informed about atproto feel free to correct me) is a totally separate global feed/server that can still communicate with bluesky (they clone their pds's so they still see everything from bluesky and vice-versa), as implied by the name it was made for the black community (no whytes allowed!!1!)

Bars are small physical places that generally require a pleasant/tolerable and somewhat homogenous vibe to succeed. In order to maintain that vibe, you might need to do things like enforce a dress code or throw out anyone you don't like the look of.

Social media platforms require the exact opposite. They need to establish a network effect to succeed, and that requires being open to anyone who isn't directly breaking their limited rules! Especially when they are just starting up!
