I like the coordination in opening these accounts. Classic flood the zone tactics. Is there anything special to the verification process that suggests Bluesky helped, or is it really easy to get that checkmark?

Engaging with Bluesky isn’t legitimizing Bluesky. If anything it will cause Bluesky to fracture sooner and drive users out into even tinier echo chambers.

Fall would be a nice and cool temperature, winter would be pleasantly cold to allow for snow to fall, spring would begin to warm allowing beautiful showers and trees abloom. Ending with summer bringing a wonderful heat for the perfect beach time weather.

At least Tumblr was a major player in the social media landscape. It almost made sense for a company to have a presence on there.

All this does is simultaneously legitimize Bluesky as a platform for government officials to use, while also showing how incompetent said officials are when they're unable to properly set up verification or a custom handle. It's sort of like the guy that made a verified Eli Lilly account and tanked the company's stock prices with a single tweet; someone can just make an account for Kristi Noem, repost her twitter posts for a few weeks, and just start tweeting some crazy shit to stir up drama.
