One thing I notice from people discussing the Palworld case is that people think it is a copyright case. It's not, because Nintendo probably thinks they would lose a copyright case. Rather it's a software patent case. My hope from this case is that Nintendo's patent is invalidated by the court and ceases to be enforceable. I'm not hopeful though because these are two Japanese companies and this is, I presume a Japanese court. Since one of the companies is Nintendo, I think Palworld will lose. I think the software patent Nintendo is trying to enforce here is overbroad, obvious and has a lot of prior art that should make a court reject it.21Sep#15

Bob usually simps for people who would hate him if they knew who he was and would actively go out of their want to snub and humiliate him. Well, we've seen that with Lindsay Ellis. I can't imagine Disney would want Bob to be seen as the face of their brand in any way. I don't think anyone would. Maybe a cockroach extermination company could license his face for animated cockroaches in their commercials, but that's about it.
