Well, that, and I think he thinks vagueposting actually makes him seem cooler because there's an aura of mystery around him. In reality, all it does is make it difficult for anyone to parse what the fuck he's talking about, because for some reason, he vagueposts about everything. Someone replied to one of his recent smug "oh I totally know where this is going because I read Wikipedia" posts politely requesting that he knock it off because nobody knows what he's referring to. I'm sure Bob blocked him immediately afterwards.

Bob is a case study in how resentment and envy can destroy any chance a man has if he lets those emotions rule him. He has stewed in bitter hatred of those he thinks have either ruined his life or unjustly done better than him for probably the majority of his life. Rather than use others' examples as fuel to improve his lot in life, or even just learn to accept that shit happens and be content with the good things he actually has, he wallows in self-pity and lashes out at anyone he thinks has wronged him, which happens to be nearly everyone. Any time someone extends a helping hand, he ruins it because he can't keep his big mouth shut. He still holds out a delusional hope that things will turn around eventually, but the man's firmly in his 40s now, and a lot more doors are closed to him than remain open.

If anyone in his life actually cared about him, they'd force him off of Twitter for good. Maybe they're just not aware of the shit he says on a daily basis...worse, maybe they agree with him. Either way, Bob's misery is entirely his own doing, no matter how much he tries to blame everything else.

The soldier's sister called them out on it publicly and even said that she'd just voted for Trump. The "story" apparently had also been shopped around to other outlets who all correctly determined it was bullshit and passed on it, and only the Atlantic actually decided to run the obvious hatchet job.

Good news from MCU!

Okay, but Bob, you still haven't answered the question: why is it so hard for them to just make a Blade movie? People are asking that question because it's incredibly obvious it shouldn't be; "black guy kills vampires with swords" is literally all anyone wants out of it. The problem was trying to tie Blade into the lumbering behemoth that is the MCU where he simply doesn't fit. Could they make it work? Maybe, but that's a lot of extra bullshit that they have to work around, and it would not surprise me that it was a contributing factor to this shit being effectively shitcanned.

There's also rumors that they initially wanted to focus the movie more on Blade's daughter instead of the man himself, something that Mahershala Ali was very much opposed to. If he were still butting heads with the studio over it, that would be another possible reason.

Or, and this might sound crazy, maybe they're taking the same approach that they did for the original movies, which had open casting calls for the main roles. All three actors in the main trio were unknowns at the time, with only Daniel Radcliffe having a TV movie under his belt. It sounds to me like they're taking the same approach of casting a wide net and searching for the best fit for the role instead of picking "established kid talent."

But no, I'm sure film industry expert Moviebob is correct and everyone hates Harry Potter now and nobody will audition for it and the whole project will flop. Truly, this is the end for the evil TERF J.K. Rowling! Bob's reward of hot librarians will surely arrive within the hour.
