The South Park episode "Mr. Garrison's Fancy New Vagina" showed the absurdity surrounding the transgender movement nearly twenty years ago, using a similar scenario to what Vance was talking about. For the last decade, his only two film releases not related to Disney have been Blade Runner 2049 and The Secret Life of Pets 2, both of which were years ago.
