The amazing thing about Bob is that he manages to have one of the most active threads on the site, competing with or even vastly outpacing fraudsters, pedophile advocates, animal abusers, deathfats, violent addicts, spousal abusers, and a dozen other wretched specimens of humanity ... despite the fact that Bob's own activities are really quite tame. What does he really do besides bitch on Twitter and occasionally make an unwatchable video? He manages to make himself an object of interest through sheer obnoxiousness. It's really kind of impressive, honestly.

It is very predictable. Every now and then you get a Lindsay Ellis nuke, or an "autism blackface," or Bob cheering Germany to invade Poland again, but for the most part if you get sick of his shit (and everyone does) you can drop out of the thread for a while, then not feel like you missed anything when you come back. He's the lolcow equivalent of comfort food (so long as it's not anything he cooked).

I continue to come back to Bob over all the other cows because despite how boring and harmless he actually is I find him absolutely fascinating. The fact that he's been like this for the decade that he's been online only adds to that fascination. I've never witnessed a man so upset by his station in life and yet refuses to do ANYTHING about it, despite having all the means to do so. There's something so incredibly human about it.

The worrying part of Bob's pablum is that an increasing amount of people actually agree with his dehumanizing methods, or at least that people deemed "ignorant" are ontologically inferior and/or evil, and that some order of punishment should be at hand against them. They don't say a thing about it because, really, even they see the ridiculousness of such a thing - treating people well is still very much the norm, even to people you don't like for one reason or another. And most libs and lefties haven't really reached the point they cut off all people more inclined to the right just because.
This doesn't apply to the humanoid sack of walrus shit, whose contact with other human beings is incredibly limited at best, and whose understanding of human behavior is restricted to what he's seen in freaking fictional works. Worst, not even realistic fictional works, where even the designated bad guys have some degree of nuance to at least explain why they act that way. This is a man who has been demonstrably addicted to every asspat that's come his way from the blue bird app for well over a decade now, a man who would probably stop functioning if it ever shut down for good. And now that it's owned by someone he vehemently loathes, he has to go full sour grapes and claim it was never that important to him or anybody.
And just because its userbase isn't in the billions, doesn't mean it hasn't had an impact. Sometimes, it takes only a percentage point or two to cause a shitstorm to happen, and Twitter's been behind a lot of those over its existence. Cope and seethe, fatty.
