I had to work 4 hours today which is bullshit (working for a company is basically paid slavery) instead of my regular 8. A guy who works the picking line was complaining that about the lack of hours. Ben's worried that it's easier for admin to hire twice as many temps who get paid half what he does, to work double time to do what he does, and the company saves money because they don't have to pay temps benefits, retirement, or insurance. I remind him that he's white and his replacement theory is bullshit and racist the only way that I know to get through to a privileged white male: Throwing packages of panties at him and screaming bigot over and over again. Now I'm sitting in HR, angry and confused, because their own diversity and inclusion training proves that I'm right.

I think part of it is that when Bob talks about nature he's really talking about movies. He has an extremely shallow knowledge of nature, and he's only interested in nature when he thinks it's going to make his dreams of monster movies being true become reality. I can't imagine Bob sitting someplace and looking at a pretty bird, or going scuba diving to enjoy the undersea sights. No, for Bob nature is just, "How can the world be more like the latest Godzilla movie?"

Troons and troon sympathizers just can't accept the truth that their "lifesaving medicine" is little more than man's hubris attempting to overcome biological facts. Yes, it turns out that stopping a child from going through puberty will cause all manner of health issues as they get older because puberty is where their body gets prepped for adulthood, both physically and mentally. It's worse if you then pump them full of synthetic hormones of the opposite sex, throwing multiple systems out of whack. And God forbid you actually butcher them with surgery, giving them no chance to grow up healthily.
These procedures aren't reversible either, despite what the troon lobby would have you believe. Even if you start giving a boy testosterone after blocking his puberty, you've still delayed his development substantially, and he'll never develop into the man he was supposed to. And I don't need to explain why you can't put parts back on that were previously lopped off.
You can stick your fingers in your ears and go "lalalala FUCKING TERFS" all you want, but reality is going to set in for you one of these days. This sort of shit can't be hidden forever, and eventually the public is going to have enough of your shit and keep their kids away from you. I pray it happens sooner than later.

Drinker's criticism is legit; he goes into further detail in his review (#33 trending on YouTube at the time of writing!), but in summary, Wakanda kinda acts like absolute dicks and we're supposed to applaud them because WUHKANDUH FOREVAH. These smoothbrains are handwaving it away by saying other governments were attacking Wakanda for their vibranium, but how would they know that for sure? It could just be mercenary groups attempting to infiltrate and steal this highly valuable material, unaffiliated with any government. Y'know, kind of like what was depicted in the first movie. Could also be a false flag attempting to get them to believe they were under siege; maybe in the hands of a better writer, Namor could be orchestrating this to get the Wakandans to go along with his plan to go kill all the humans. Either way, it's stupid to just be like "nah fuck you got mine" when the rest of the fucking planet is depending on you to help defend themselves from cosmic-scale threats.
But setting all that aside, it's hysterical that Bobby is demonizing the only reason he even has a "career," solely because it means that people he doesn't like also get a voice. Thirty years ago, if you wanted to be a critic, you had to find an in somewhere in legacy media: newspapers, radio, TV, magazines, what have you. There weren't going to be many openings at any given time, and you needed to have demonstrable skills to pull it off, so odds were good you weren't going to make it. Nowadays, yeah, anyone with a webcam can hop on YouTube, film a review, and add their opinions to the pile. On top of that, you can even get paid to do that, either through adbux or Patreon, provided enough people think your opinions are worth paying for.
Without the democratization of media criticism that he's lambasting here, Bobby would be stuck working some dead-end job. There's no way that someone with his mediocre skillset would be able to land a job as a movie critic, or if he did, he wouldn't hold it for long. He survives solely due to inertia from getting in on the ground floor as YouTube was beginning to take off, but that clearly isn't going to last forever as younger and more talented creators run laps around him. At some point, Bob is going to have to either adapt or get left in the dust, and I don't think he has the humility to admit he's done anything wrong.
Oh, and let's also not forget Drinker is a successful published author, much better than Bob's laughable attempt with Brick by Brick. And the Kickstarter for his first film project has blown past its goal by over $300k, while Bob hasn't done anything remotely related to "film" since the Game OverThinker days. In case you needed any more evidence that Bob is seething about Drinker's success.
