Regarding Chris Hemsworth leaving Thor, I wouldn't blame him, why would you want to keep playing a character who gets progressively more retarded with each passing minute of screen time?
Also, I've never seen Inside Job, but I saw a clip from it and it looked like Rick and Morty, but with a somehow even more insufferable protagonist. I can see why Bob might be a fan.

This is especially funny if you know the movie this is from. This scene and quote is from 2021 movie Halloween Kills. This Goddamned chant pops up I wanna say a third to half way through the movie and is repeated so much that you want Michael Myers to kill everyone in the town and making the movie. Why this is funny is because the townspeople declare that they will no longer live in fear of Michael Myers, become rabid, refuse to listen to reason or actual evidence, and attack any and everyone they think might be Myers to the point that they harass a schizophrenic man to suicide. That is not a joke. "Evil dies tonight" is the mantra of the hypersensitive and reactionary mob and even in a movie as bad as Halloween Kills it's not hinted that it's a good thing. So keep clapping and keep arfing you goiter nosed seal. Maybe you can get someone else to give to your patreon besides your mommy.

I absolutely abhor this mantra that Bobby and his ilk repeat about it being impossible to "bully a bully."
The "logic," as it were, is that because the bully in question is doing such abhorrent things already, any bad things done to them can be justified as "justice." The issue with this, as anyone with even a modicum of understanding of ethics could tell you, is that it's all too easy to get carried away and end up causing more harm than even the original bully did, especially if, in your righteous fury, you begin to target others that you view as being potential threats to stop them before they can hurt anyone.
I'm not talking about self-defense, obviously; sometimes you need to stand up for yourself and prove you're not just a target. But if the bully backs off and you continue to harass them, you have become the bully yourself, and by this logic, you are now fair game.
I don't need to bring up the C.S. Lewis quote about robber-barons again, but those that believe they are in the right are also very able to convince themselves that any action they do must be justified. If you're a good person, then everything you do must also be good, right? How many atrocities have been committed because the people doing them thought it was the right thing to do?
Lastly, I came across this article on bully-victims, basically mid-tier bullies that are at the mercy of stronger bullies but take out their frustration on weaker children. I seem to recall Bob mentioning that he bullied kids when he was in school as an attempt to fit in, and a lot of what is described in this article fits him all too well. Emotional problems, antisocial tendencies, trouble in school, and, most notably, "more likely to endorse Machavellian beliefs and show a lack of faith in human nature." I can't count how many times Bob's rambled on about how much he hates humanity and how he could totally fix everything if he were in charge. Also noteworthy, bully-victims may be less likely than pure bullies to stop their behavior. One look at Bob's belligerent attitude should confirm he has no intention of stopping.
So yes, it is in fact possible to bully a bully. When that happens, you get Bob.

As much as I dislike the MCU and their Thor is up on the list, the Hemsworth thing is actually sad and Bob's making an ass of himself since he can't think beyond consooming. Hemsworth wants to take a break from acting because he found out he's genetically predisposed to Alzheimer's with very likely odds that he's going to develop it and thus wants to spend more time with his family. His daughter's only 10 so depending on when it starts happening, he'd be missing out on chunks of her life. Hell, Hemsworth himself is only 39 and I can only imagine the stress of thinking you have a good while of life ahead of you but finding out it's more like a time bomb.

I know I just did this, but I love when Moviebob mouths off about other people's jobs. It always reveals how ignorant he is of everything in the world and how much of his world view is shaped by malice.

That's how narcissistic these people are. They literally can't think outside their own minds. Like I saw a trailer for Nic Cage's "Old Ways" the other day. If I were to describe it to you folks here I would say: "It's 'John Wick' in the old west with a dash of 'True Grit.'" And I would assume you all would understand what I mean because I'm referencing things ANYONE can get from the movie (like plot and characters). I wouldn't say, "it's like The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly - because it's a Western movie I think I'll like."
