I had the same gut reaction, but it's actually pretty good. Protag has insufferable moments, but she isn't treated like some misunderstood genius (a la Rick) in those moments, she's treated like an absolute cunt. Some pretty funny moments, and a few genuinely touching ones too. Hell, the most R&M like characters (Drug addict scientist and up his own ass, holier than thou prick) are both constantly shit on. Big recommend.

I don't know how I missed this yesterday but this dipshit cannot even link his fediverse account right. The way that it's written is the syntax of viewing a profile from a different server. To use the popular no no server as an example, if you're on Poast and you look at Bob's page it will look like that, "at name at server". If you were to look at someone from your own server it would appear as "server forward slash at name". We can confirm this from @King Dead's post from yesterday. Bob is either retarded and cannot figure out how to copy the link it directly from address bar, actually believed that retarded journo that Elon was censoring any tweets mentioning mastodon servers (completely ignorant or purposefully ignoring the fact that it the node he put down is a dot org and he put dot com because he's retarded), or he pulled this from his secret account that's on another server. Who knows what the exact reasoning is.

What I do know is that this is his new pinned comment, replacing that dumb one he's had up for over a year.

Do all the people fleeing to the fediverse, expect to have the same reach, and cultural consciousness that Twitter has. I can't ever see a world where Mastodon has the same size and cultural clout Twitter has because normies won't want to learn it. As far as social media goes the fediverse is basically the Linux of socal media.

That implies they've been thinking more than five minutes ahead. They're so caught up in doomposting over the fucking retarded blue bird app being owned by alt-right chud Elon that they've given up all rational thinking. It's just "oh no the chuds are taking over" and "twitter's going down in days" and "follow me on [x] i need more followers."

Look, Twitter's certainly in flux right now, but as much as I'd like it to die for the lulz, it's likely not going anywhere. Rather, it'll likely have its operations scaled back while Elon and company figure out how to reorganize it to better fit its actual value, as opposed to the overbloated state it was in while billions of dollars flowed into it despite never producing a viable product. I don't think Elon will actually be the free speech advocate he initially claimed to be (the fact he's talking about shadowbanning wrongthink is good evidence of this), but if nothing else, the fact he's made so many retards like Bob screech for months now is good enough for me.

If you want a perfect example of how rock stupid these people are, most of them still call the fediverse "Mastodon". When tech reporters like the 40 year old saggy snatch Taylor Lorenz ran to the fediverse they were in shock! People could call them faggots, kikes, whores, and tell them to kill them selves with no hesitation. These same people then complained about where was "Mastodon's" trust and safety team? Why weren't they doing anything to curb the hate speech and bullying that these retards never had to deal with on twitter because of their bought checkmarks? All of them seemed to believe that the fediverse was one giant conglomerate like twitter and not hundreds of nodes with their own rules and moderation that make up a network.
