Huh. Here we are, front and center at the dick rider's dilemma. How could Bob possibly see this as a good thing when by his frequent and noisy declarations, Disney has made nothing but the right moves at every opportunity?

Lightyear tanking, Marvel interest waning and underperforming at every level, Star Wars being thrust to bottom tier franchise status - Bob screamed that these were all good moves! Changing leadership should infuriate this man, but , right guys?

Disney+ added a lot of subscribers, but still reported an operating loss of almost $1.5 billion. They're dumping millions and millions into shows that aren't drawing the returns to justify that cost. He considers David Zaslav a special ed student, but Zaslav actually understands business. Not only is that guy shedding content that's too much money for too little return, he's going to be there when HBO Max merges with Discovery next year.

And that matters because your average woman doesn't give a fuck about She Hulk. But she does watch Homestead Rescue, Naked and Afraid, Gold Rush, Conjuring Kesha, and Property Brothers. Each of these shows is pennies to make. Zaslav doesn't like these shows because he likes them; they're cheap and get views. And they have seasons and seasons of content all ready to go.

But anti-woke, go broke, right?

Refresh my memory ... has Bob ever blamed Disney for its fight with DeSantis? Has he ever suggested it didn't go super well for Disney and that DeSantis was committing suicide going up against the Mouse? I certainly don't have that impression, but admittedly I don't always pay close attention to Bob's every spergfest.

I puzzled over this. "vovo" is portugese for "Grandpa", but that wouldn't explain the female grandparent. Now I do believe Bob claimed partial Portugese ancestry? So that would kinda make some sorta sense, but I'm going to go out on a limb and posit that those people drove a Volvo and neither Bob nor Chris could prononce "Volvo" and that was the means by which they distinguished these grandparents.

I know it's probably some little kid's adorable mispronunciation, but fuck that, Bob gets all the benefit of the doubt he gives the Mayoghoulen.
