He's a dedicated consoomer of the basic morality play, but still arrogant enough that he never "learns the Aesop" because he assumes himself (erroneously, duh) to be so hyper-evolved that he won't fall into the very trap the story is trying to warn you about.is not if you know blobbo fascist history, is boner for dictatorship is inmense , helps him feed his delusions of being superior and being in power, like all sjw and like them is too stupid/arrogant/dumb to realize/accept his real place in the world
Stories about how absolute power corrupts, or that two wrongs don't make a right exist as a way to say "yes, even you" to every wannabe dictator who is certain they would make a benevolent one, and every liar who tries to justify their self-serving dishonesty as not that bad since it may be tangentially helping someone else, letting them know that no, it's a universal constant when it comes to human behavior: When allowed to do these things you get these negative outcomes, don't try it. You aren't more special than anyone who came before you to be exempt.
If you had unilateral power, you'd be slitting throats by the end of the week. If you lie, you'll lose the ability to be trusted, no matter why you lied.
And Bob looks at it and thinks "Surely they don't mean me when they say no man should have the powers of a God, they just mean the obsoletes who wouldn't know how to restrain themselves, like I would!"
