This makes me certain that Bob either never read this comic (and scraped Wikis for content like Chat GPT), or he did but he forgot.
Or he repressed it so he wouldn't have to feel Superman scolding him.

If he knew about the various Dirty Wars, he would want those as well, along with 70s radical left terrorism.I'm sure I was here when this tweet was first posted (I may even have commented on it) but my goodness he comes across as a complete psychopath. I'm not sure that he is psychotic; it's more likely he's so focused on sounding like a tough guy he's blissfully unaware of how deranged this sounds.
If you're wiping "entire CITIES ... off the face of the Earth" in a single breath, aren't you necessarily killing innocents?
How often does beheading kings actually work out for the best, rather than gifting your country a Cromwell or a Reign of Terror?
I suspect drunk-tweeting again.
I do love this quote, because it shows just how he thinks, how short term, how in the moment...as if his waistline and alcoholism weren't already indicators.View attachment 5160490

And those same exact cities were burned down by their own populace after MLK Jr was killed. It led to white flight.I do love this quote, because it shows just how he thinks, how short term, how in the moment...as if his waistline and alcoholism weren't already indicators.
Anger, is bad, it leads to rash decisions. You enter into an irrational state and can be manipulated. It leads to unceasing cycles of violence, that escalate and escalate. Blobby despite being an intensely angry man, would not survive in an intensely angry world. He's soft and as scared of actual conflict, as he is of a full days work and correct portion sizes. Look at the date on that tweet, that was after a summer, where an angry population, whipped up by years of propaganda, and media manipulation....got angry. And all they did was destroy their own cities...their own "castles." Many of those cities will be feeling the fallout for years, many will never recover, and continue to decay.
I doubt Bob would comprehend that the reason Haiti is still a fucking mess is a bunch of blek people stayed mad about slavery even long after they kicked out the frogs.I do love this quote, because it shows just how he thinks, how short term, how in the moment...as if his waistline and alcoholism weren't already indicators.

What I was trying to say and this page actually shows it is that Morrison was tackling the same issues as The Authority in JLA, he rejected the idea that you had to go to their solutions but it examined these issues. The entire point of the run was that JLA is the best greatest of DC's heroes so they should be dealing with monumental crises, this wasn't JLA for pretty much all of the post-Crisis period and even before with Justice League Detroit, etc. The Justice League wasted its time on mostly irrelevant villains and at one point Justice League Europe was spending its time on robberies rather than anything else. Morrison reshaped them towards nothing but possible world-ending threats as per their status, which is the same task The Authority took on in Wildstorm's universe at roughly the same time. Shortly there after Ultimate Marvel hopped on this train, in part because of many of the same writers and their cohorts who were having this same response to the post-Watchmen era where people mistook violence and nihilism for meaning, Morrison, Millar, etc. all wanted to import the philosophy to let the comics "mean" something as a reconstructionist response to the deconstruction. Some of this turned up in Wildstorm first because nobody gave a shit about those characters so writers, like Alan Moore did for Wildcats, could refashion them in these directions, then a lot of those guys jumped off that into the DC/Marvel universes. Morrison moving up to JLA, the flagship, was part of that same movement. Bob doesn't know any of this so he assumes Superman vs. The Elite was some kind of shot at "grimdark antiheroism" when it was really just a point in the debate that was happening all across comics about how far did heroes need to go when facing actual legitimate threats rather than wacky supervillains. Even The Authority stories had since moved towards them having to deal with the consequences of their own prior actions and choices.Grant Morrison has a very particular writing style that's both a blessing and a curse. I mean we make jokes about Bob's mario-shka jokes but Grant has freaking turned it into an art form where he's writing bullshit to the point where the reader is going, "Dude, I feel like I missed a few references somewhere." He's definitely best when someone can restrain him just enough to say, "make this intelligible."
As for his philosophy, I mean this was literally a concluding page on his first JLA story run:

Note the old whore did not deny Robby's allegations and indeed tacitly confirms them; she only cares about herself: a model Cluster B.Once upon a time, MovieBob ranted in a review about her: "He opens his review of Jennifer's Body with a two-minute rant about how much Megan Fox sucks as an actress and is completely boring and generic even as a sex symbol."
If Bobby was drunk, he was drunk on B-movie clichés. Don't expect him to think over what he types. If you're wiping "entire CITIES ... off the face of the Earth" in a single breath, aren't you necessarily killing innocents?

Linkara said something similar, though I would have assumed RLM would get better metrics since more people are into rewatching them.I remember Red Letter Media saying something at one point, maybe on Pre-Rec when Rich and Jack did it, but when it comes to ad revenue on their old videos they get about a buck a video per month so for them that's over $750/month. That probably covers half or more of their rent on the studio, without even getting into their patreon and merchandise money. Blob probably heard something similar and is massively dumping videos thinking it will be the same thing. It won't be.
Carter was such a disaster for the Democrats they didn't even want him hence why Kennedy challenged him for the nomination in 1980. I've heard Carter had more animosity for Kennedy than he ever did Reagan.View attachment 5161400
Person who replied to bobby is too young to know the absolute fucking disaster that was the Carter presidency, Including line-ups for gasoline because Carter was a damn "nice guy" cuck and got cucked by the Iranians. 1980 was the year Ronald Reagan won the election and restored some semblance of sanity to the USA. Bob's too young to remember this shit too, but I'll bet he'll wax exceptional about how terrible Reagan was and long for the days of Mr. Peanut Farmer running the show.

I have been misgendered a total of ONCE in my life. And you know what I did? I laughed my fucking ass off. Because I'm not a fucking genderspecial or troon. Some person just had bad eyesight and my back was to them. I'm not about to join the 41% lol.

Oh, hardy-har-har, Bob. Yogi's Gang was 1973. While Ronald Reagan was Governor of California from 1967-1975, he didn't become President until 1981, and I don't recall anything either remotely or overtly "racist" from any of that. I swear, the Blue Curtains Bob Builds to analyze. What a crayon-eater.
Months later, one of America's "castles" was "stormed" by "angry people" and Bob saw it as the darkest day in the country's history.View attachment 5160490

Ah ok. If you want to say he was asking the same questions as Authority - but coming to different answers - yeah I'd definitely agree with that. What I was trying to say and this page actually shows it is that Morrison was tackling the same issues as The Authority in JLA, he rejected the idea that you had to go to their solutions but it examined these issues.
Morrison does love to go big with everything he does and it was a fantastic JLA run where even those after him kept up with the general grand scale... usually. Towards the end of the run they had things like "Pain of the Gods" which was literally just the league's members dealing with trauma. And every once in awhile they would have oddities like the issue where Wonder Woman imagined what it would be like to be with Batman.Morrison reshaped them towards nothing but possible world-ending threats as per their status, which is the same task The Authority took on in Wildstorm's universe at roughly the same time.
Bob knowing those much about Yogi Bear is disturbing. Thought the balloon boy hated Warner Bros. That said the Squirrel game looks entertaining, which he seems to have a problem with. Fun killer.
Carter was a idiot that got people killed in Iran, didn't see their revolution coming so they ended up with a HUGE amount of our military tech, while gutting our own military and canceling programs left and right. Bitch about Reagan as you will, he's the reason the west made a quantum leap over the soviets tech wise.Carter was such a disaster for the Democrats they didn't even want him hence why Kennedy challenged him for the nomination in 1980. I've heard Carter had more animosity for Kennedy than he ever did Reagan.
& Reagan beat Carter with 11 words.
Are you better off today than you were four years ago?
The Atlantic reports (archive) that young American liberal women are getting more and more radicalized, which should improve Bobby's odds of passing his genes.

It's funny he talks About women being persecuted, even in my industry, we have female welders, a number which as only grown, in every buisness across the board. It's about emotions, which if he says that isn't real, clearly he hasn't been around a pregnant woman.American women are unable to control their emotions a and keep falling for feel good Utopian nonsense, and only recover once it bites them hard in the ass.
Except unlike in the 1970's we now have a much worse media and societal malaise going on, and powers that be that see a lot more profit in keeping the status quo of progressive rainbow capitalism going to allow a Reagan-like push back to happen.
I like how the random seems to be the only one who paid attention to the graph and is asking about it, while Film Robert is spewing his shit like he always does.
This is the same guy who thinks trannies are real women. It's best to think that he doesn't register a single thought in that smooth orb of his that he calls a brain.Isn't that radio-telescope Bob is blaming "right wingers" for being deprecated and falling apart located in Panama? What even is his complaint here?
In fact that damage looks more like it happened at once, not something that slowly collapsed over time, like the aftermath of a big storm. Is he complaining it hasn't been fixed fast enough then?
Bob's impotent rage at everything and everyone burns so strongly he literally can't even take a moment to organize his thoughts into what he will be mad about.
