What's funny is two different people, one of whom is Bob and the other is someone who isn't a cringe, tryhard, loser can do the same bit and one of them will be painful to read and the other will be slightly amusing. It's an interesting phenomenon.

Not having his own PC would certainly have had an impact, since he wouldn't be getting cheap PC games to play on it like a lot of those wonderful shareware CD Roms that were coming out back in the day. Imagine not having Rise of the Triad or Blood for PC back in the day. Why live? Of course, at some point Bob decided that FPS games were the military industrial complex brainwashing Bubba into being perfect drone soldiers (not much different than anti-videogame critics at the time).
Bob's hatred of FPS as a genre makes his whole assertion that we'll all be just has happy playing them with Wiimotes, Sony Move(?) and Kinect even funnier than if he actually played FPSs and thought somehow the motion controls were going to evolve into mouse and keyboard replacements. Wiimotes were actually good for shooting gallery games like House of the Dead, and properly implemented gyro controls in any kind of joystick do really improve FPS play. But since he referenced the Kinect in his video he's not talking about gyro controls. He is basically just an incompetent, bumbling moron who should stay in his lane of Cutie Honey Live Action reviews. (Were there any Kinect games that set the world on fire and everyone looks back and says, "Oh, no, we can't play this great FPS they made with Kinect controls anymore. Our world has become a dark, dreary place.")
The irony here is that I'm something of an FPS fan myself, and I'm not some bloodthirsty militaristic drone who wants Elon Musk hanged because he didn't want his tech used to start Worl War III. No, that would be the guy who likes the colorful game designed for children but still wants to massacre a bunch of people he never met because The Party told him he should hate them.

I've heard "xillenials" before too. There is maybe an interesting debate to be hand as technology has accelerated, have generational divides changed? (Just wait until you have the pre and post robot-war kids!) A kid born in 45 would probably have way more in common with a kid born in 64 compared to the '65 and '84 kids. But on the flip side... how much does an '80s kid have in common with a '94? Remember the dial up tone to get on the internet? AOL floppies?
At times I could almost understand some of Bob's frustrations when you're lumped in with a group you still feel pretty alienated from or don't have much in common with (probably how most of us Americans feel being lumped in with Bob). Calling either of these things "homework machines" is so incredibly ignorant that I wonder if there's some envy tied up in it: Bob wanted an Apple after playing Oregon Trail or something on it and his parents never got him one. Whatever the case, it's clear he still seethes over PC and PC-adjacent gaming.
Bob was the sort of guy I looked down on as a kid for playing simple minded Super Mario crap while I was busy emptying Uzi clips into mutated ghouls in Wasteland or cramping my brain with the puzzles in Zork. By high school I stopped caring what anyone was playing; it could all be fun. It always gives me pause when I see how frozen Bob is in such an adolescent mindset. And it's worth remembering that while his rhetoric is borderline Nazi and streaked with violent revenge fantasies, his motivations are always, always, always purely childish.

Is should be noted that those articles fail to mention cause of death as I imagine most died from disease as the residential schools were hotbeds for tuberculosis. What Bob and the Serf lack is a nuanced understanding of residential schools in Canada. Yes, they are a black mark on the nation's history, but there were cases where parents willingly sent them to these schools. For example, the mother died and the father could not care for them because he'd be away for long periods of time on hunting trips so he sent them to the school. The illiterate father of one indigenous author (I can't remember who) sent him to a residential school because literacy would give him a better future.
This is a rant better-suited for the "Canada is a Failed State" thread, but "Every Child Matters" has taken on a religious dimension as residential schools have become something of a secular "original sin" for the nation. Same for "land acknowledgements", which make me roll my eyes every time I hear them. I increasingly get the feeling that these exist solely for the benefit of self-hating white liberals who believe that they are entitled to absolution from minorities.

Yeah, it's always worth figuring out which of the 7 deadly sins fits when considering Bob's motivations. One reason he hates PCs is the same reason he still seethes about Sonic, it wasn't Nintendo and he became very tribal over something to the point where Shigeru Miyamoto would have told him to calm the fuck down. He never liked it when FPS were taking the spotlight off of his beloved colorful mascot platformers. He envied people who had their own computers when he had to use his Dad's I suspect, and he also hates "Tech Bros" who have useful skills that he lacks. NES main processing chip was just a Commodore CPU with one module disabled because that was enough to get around the patent in Japan.
Super Mario Bros C64 : I actually play the Commodore 64 port of Super Mario Brothers in an emulator from time to time. I still think it was better that Nintendo created a dedicated console but it's interesting how close the NES was to the C64.
I would say to never let Bob or people like Bob forget their part in this but they don't care. It's far more important that you never forget their part in all of this.
Bob will probably continue to bring this up even though it's been debunked because he hates God and God's church. So even a fake gotcha is better than no gotcha at all. It's not like Bob has any integrity, and a lot of people are going to miss that it had been debunked.

Bob's something of a unique cow in that he's rather mundane, all things considered. He hasn't gotten up to any truly noteworthy shenanigans, especially not in public. He's not a sex pervert, a troon, or a pedo (but I repeat myself). He's nothing more than a Z-list internet movie critic, straddling the line between has-been and never-was.
What makes him fascinating, however, is his complete and utter stupidity, his delusions of grandeur, and his incessant need to trumpet his idiocy to the world. He's a total Twitter addict (300k+ tweets and counting!), blasting out random thoughts and arguments at all hours of the day instead of doing his "job," as it were. He's wrong about practically everything, yet he truly believes he is smarter than most of his peers. He keeps pushing various terms in the hopes they catch on, with "Thinkers vs. Believers" being perhaps his most common Bobism.
I dunno about others, but speaking for myself, that's what keeps me coming back to this thread. It's truly something to see someone so utterly stupid blather on as though he's an intellectual, proudly boasting that he's an enlightened Thinker and thus far Superior to those backwards Believers. He blames his multitude of problems on literally everyone but himself, and continues to slide into further irrelevancy by failing to engage in a modicum of self-reflection. He does get pretty repetitive, so there's no shame in tapping out after a while, but it's always fun to gather round and laugh at the latest batch of idiocy.

I haven't searched for his twitter but he also seems to work at NOT alienating other people. ("Republicans buy shoes too." -Michael Jordan) Sometimes it seems like Bob has learned the wrong lesson from shows like House or divas antics. If someone is sufficiently talented and skilled, yes others will let them get away with a lot more jerk-ass behavior than they would tolerate from anyone else. Bob seems to believe then that if he just behaves like the jerk, he'll then be as talented as skilled as them. Well he's not skilled enough NOR attractive enough for anybody to have any tolerance for him being an asshole. He should have always had a scarcity mindset when it comes to fans and either avoided politics altogether or had an irreverent "laugh at both sides" style.
If he had really embraced the "jolly schlock" guy and didn't act like an ass all the time, he might have actually had modicum success, maybe not as high as Red Letter Media but getting close to their level.

I was curious about what Bob's opinion on House would show, but of course it's too generic a term to find it on his Twitter. I won't even bother with House, MD, because I'm very sure he doesn't care about making his Twitter easily searchable. However, the term "house" does show some insight into Bob's wonderful personality, never the less.
