Romero fan and I actually think losing the Copyright boosted his career. He got Dawn of the Dead because the Producers saw NOTLD most doors that ever opened to him was because someone saw NOTLD. Conflating AI art with NFTs seems disingenuous. I have mentioned before but I believe in something somewhat similar though, that AI art isn't really "art" but that it doesn't really matter. AI art is closer to programming than actual artistic creation, but that is ok and means that artists are still needed to make the seed art and as long as you aren't lying about how the art was made it should be valid.
