2D is more expensive than 3D. Each animated film runs at 24 frames per second, meaning for each second of animation, someone needs to draw 24 images. Stretch that across 90 minutes, and you're looking at 129,600 drawings. 2D is extremely labor intensive for the result you get. 3D has an advantage in that you simply pose the model at two key poses (called "keyframes"), and the computer does the rest. With the rise of AI, though, it'd be easy to train the AI on their old animated stuff to make new things. I can see Disney making a 2D studio using AI, though I think Bob's heart would give out if that happened.

Jean leaves in #94 but comes back in #98 (and as the book was being published six issues a year at that point, she was gone for eight months and that's not counting how she was bed bound for another stretch of issues and how Claremont and Byrne wrote her off the team again from #114-124). Havok and Polaris were turned evil (dooming them to forever being mindraped evil by outside forces), and Angel/Iceman exiled to Champions with Iceman banned from appearing in the book by Claremont and his hate boner for him, to the point that he didn't show up in the book again for about six years/#146 outside of a blink and miss non-speaking cameo in #138...

Also a case can be made that the only reason AN-AD worked is that it was a rare "clean slate" reboot but with the original numbering intact for bookkeeping reasons and the fact that Fantastic Four and Defenders was dogshit at the time and Avengers going through a period of heavy filler. And even then, Claremont was a huge dick about allowing Shooter to do an original X-Men spin-off, to the point that Defenders only got Angel/Beast/Iceman because Claremont got forced to admit he didn't have any plans for Angel and Iceman (and Beast being Avengers property at the time) and got fucked over when X-Factor finaly launched due to Claremont blocking Bob Layton's original pitch for the book using Havok/Polaris instead of Scott/Jean, purely because Claremont didn't want ANY book featuring the old team and ended up having to deal with Jean brought back against his will as a result of Shooter saying fuck you Chris.

People probably don't remember about 4 or so years ago when the wild hog meme was floating around. Many people on social media sites saw it as a way to mock farmers who wanted to keep their super scary AR rifles because of the problems/devastation that comes from wild pigs. That would include our own Lord of Lynn who changed his twitter handle to something like "40-50 feral Bobs" for a month or two. Back then it was a big joke/not happening. Now that they actually have video of someone going way over the top it's a travesty. They can't even get their terminology right. The OP says the guys are using "Laser AR-15" which is not a thing. We have not created usable laser rifles. I realize that the OP probably meant ARs with laser sights but that's not what he said. Then the commie sandwiched between Bob and OP says it's a 50 cal which is not an AR nor can be confused as one. So now I don't know if any of these dipshits know what the hell is going on. So confused was I that I actually went and watched the video. Three guys, 4 guns, and none of them are an AR platform, like laughably so.
