So, we can consider everything beyond those 7 as sort of filler, but filler is one of the concepts where if the "filler" episodes are good, no one cares that they are filler. So, I actually think most of the episodes of The Prisoner beyond those seven are good.

Oh, another thing that is "filler" is the "bottle episode." This is an episode of the show where only part of the main cast is in the episode, and it uses a set that was constructed for the series. This is usually done to save money for a higher budget episode somewhere else in the show. TV Shows such as Star Trek and Breaking Bad have done this. Bob, being a retard, doesn't know this.

And of course, my most hated filler episodes from childhood were the hated clip show episodes. "Oh, I can't wait for the new Buck Rogers episode. Oh no, it's a clip show!"

This is beyond silly and wrong. The only anime I can even think of that had major problems with the story still being written while it was being made was Naruto. I'm sure there's more but that's the biggest one I can even think of. Filler episodes disrupt the ongoing narrative of the show for that episode's story. The American episodic shows Bob is talking about are serials like sitcoms and dramas. There are no filler episodes because it's impossible for a show that's not supposed to end. MASH couldn't have fillers because that doesn't even makes sense. There's barely a story arc in it so you wouldn't even be able to tell when filler episode was inserted. Would you be able to tell which episode that has a plot about Kilnger wearing a dress is superfluous? Granted, MASH is super old so let's try something more contemporary. Simpson or Family Guy or Bob's Burgers or Modern Family or insert whatever sitcom you want here. You cannot put a filler episode in a sitcom. That's just another episode for a show that needs to just throw something out there. The same can be said for crime dramas. Another episode about them catching drug dealers instead of a corrupt pharmaceutical firm is just another episode. The only place where filler episodes may actually be noticeable are shows that have story such as True Detective or Firefly just to give examples. Even those aren't immune because look at Game of Thrones. They caught up to where George's last book was and then the whole thing turned to shit as they HAD to complete the show. Game of Thrones operated the same exact way that Bob chides the anime industry for.

The problems that anime has isn't the way that it's structured. The Problem is money. It always has been. The number of shows I've seen that turn into absolute messes and drivel during the third act or climax is legion. The vast majority of the time is because those shows ran out of money half way through and didn't have the resources to go back and do rewrites. Contrary to belief of people who never leave their mom's sewing room, save to drink heavily, Japan is not 100% weebaboo. The word otaku was originally a sort of derogatory term. It's the Japanese version of the English "you". I remember reading a line from a book about anime and some Japanese animator, I think, stated how unsettling it was in the 90's seeing a convention hall full of young men who all referred to each other as "you". It's gotten more mainstream appeal since then but it's not as socially accepted as some people, mainly weebs, believe. My personal belief as to why it's gotten more popular is pure escapism. I believe the most popular genres are power fantasy isekais and high school slice of life. There's an entire generation of salary men who have no family and have spent their entire adulthood slaving away for a company that requires them to treat the company as their family despite them being a replaceable cog and they have to struggle to keep their position from the other replaceable cogs. It makes perfect sense that you'd want to escape to a world where Truck-kun gives you god like powers or go back to your high school days and maybe you wouldn't focus so hard on those entrance exams and maybe you'd ask gf-chan out and maybe you'd say screw this corporate noise and become a dock worker where you'd struggle but be able to make a family on your own terms. I have nothing to back this theory up with other than the deluge of those two genres and my own observations.

To simplify it and put it in Bob terms, the anime industry and Japan are in their consoomer phase and I do not see it ending.

So, according to Bob, Feige is a genius for continuing to stick to his plan despite the multiple shakeups that have hit the MCU (actors dying, the new main villain getting yeeted for beating women, the coof, capeshit fatigue, VFX artists getting mistreated). It's funny to think about the fact that the most widely reviled group of people- the core of the NSDAP government was made up of people more worldly, more traveled, more educated, and braver than most of the culture commentators and laptop caste that decry their ideology today. Hitler was literally a starving artist busking his paintings on the streets of Vienna at one point, volunteered for the army, was a trench runner (a dangerous position) and was injured in a gas attack.
