It's a very old saying, from back in the days when grapes either had to be peeled or were considered gauche to eat unpeeled (I honestly forget which it was). Peeling utensils were still being made well into the 20th century.

Of course, old saying or not, Bob still mangled its use beyond the point of making any sense.

In addition, "Peel me another grape" was used to comically imply the speaker was living a life of unlimited hedonism, as peeling a grape is kind of tricky and it has very little payoff. So someone's going to a lot of trouble for a very small benefit to someone else.
Usually in a comedic context, since not many people actually went to the trouble of peeling grapes.

I've come a realization about Lardo Retardo recently, which goes as follows.

He's probably not an actual retard, he's just so diaper-shittingly stupid that there's little difference between him and those with actual developmental difficulties.

The chief differences being that those with developmental difficulties have the ability to make friends, are much kinder, happier and undoubtedly smell better.

I dunno, if Robert was more stupid, he would be more interesting though. The thing that defines Robert, to me at least, is his mediocrity.

It is the source of everything he says and how he acts, it is the reason on why he spergs out the way he does, all come from the anger and frustration of being mediocre.

Nothing wrong with being mediocre per si, most of us are, its just people like Robert can't take it, and not having the lives they think they deserve to have just makes them miserable.

And yet, Robert doesn't have the drive and discipline to make it what he wants to be, no the clarity of mind to be at peace with what he has, so the constant stick up his ass, and why Social meadia became a addiction, because somehow it allows him to vent his anger of being mediocre and act smug against those he deems inferior.

He doesn't have a mental disorder. He has a personality disorder. His brain functions "normally" it's just that a life of bad decisions and maladaptive coping mechanisms have made his personality repugnant and broken.

I would take issue with the concept that Bob's brain functions "normally" - even in personality disorders, it doesn't, and on top of that Bob's a huge sperg. Movie Trivia was his "special interest" early on.
