Intentionally or not, I've been checked out of Bob's thread for a few days, and it doesn't seem like I've missed anything important.

I don't feel like subjecting myself to his SGC2C video because I doubt he has anything insightful to say on it that I don't already know, and whatever he does say would be grating with his accent. It is pretty shitty how such an influential show has been more or less buried by the network for years, only ever getting acknowledgment on rare occasions (2014 April Fool's for its twentieth anniversary, the current YouTube livestream for its thirtieth) and rarely rerun. I don't think there's anything sinister involved, just a case of the creator (Mike Lazzo) being tired of it and wanting to move on, though since he had also become the head of Adult Swim, that meant that he could just refuse to show it at all if he didn't want to.

I suppose it's a testament to its staying power that there are still hundreds of people watching that livestream a week and a half later, despite the fact they're only playing about four hours of the series on repeat. I've been going back and rewatching a bunch of other episodes, and they still hold up all these years later. Such a great show.

Anyway, Bob's fat and he will never work in the industry. Or have sex.
