Whining and moaning isn't going to get you job security. Working out how to adapt to this new environment so you can keep employed and a roof over your heads is. Sure, he'll make excuses one way or another ("I have other things on my plate," "I have to get these videos out on time," "something something Drumpf"), but it's still on him to produce videos that are actually worth watching, especially since he continues to refuse to put any of his Patreon money towards an editor, a stance that he claims is moralistic but is probably more because he's a cheapass miser. It ain't 2009 anymore, people expect some bare minimum level of competence. Hell, Bob's nemesis Drinker doesn't do any more than talking over montage clips, but his videos still blow Bobby's out of the water performance-wise because his videos are actually humorous, line up with general audience tastes, and don't sound like dogshit due to a bargain microphone.

The thing is, to be a movie reviewer/critic, is the easiest job on Youtube. But the low barrier of entry means it is flooded, by 6000 videos about Marvel every second.
Type Marvel movie review in and go down the list past all the popular guys and see the 1000s of unknowns who get 5 views a video.
Drinker does not do anything special. He just posts videos and promotes them. He spends time on livestream's talking to other youtubers and their audiences. He networks, even to hate watchers, by making sure to post about his new videos in places where they have 0 choice but to see it.
When has Bob even talked to other people? He has only got himself to blame about how lazy he is with his youtube channel. You never hear of Bob going on even leftist aligned shows. Because he knows he would get confronted on his tweets and have a sperg out. That and most of the more sane leftists themselves also don't want to be linked with his easily dunkable hot takes. He is an intellectual and physical coward.
