from what I've been able to piece together from a patchwork of Bob's elaborations, it sounds like he had - just before covid struck - a deal involving owning his own studio and producing actual fucking movies out of it. However, the Coof wasn't locked down hard enough according to Bob, which caused his deal to go tits-up and all the money he outlaid (and probably borrowed a fuckton) to vanish into the aether. He must have paid a huge fucking non-refundable deposit on the studio or some dumb shit like that, and since it was all or almost all borrowed fucking money, hence the debt.

Until Drunk!Bob comes along with a more specified detailed explanation, I am convinced this is probably the closest we'll get to what his debt is made of. As seen with Lesser Bro's 6 figure reno job with ridiculously overpriced replacement appliances, it seems the male sides of the Chipman family are incredibly fucking bad with money. And that's not even getting into all the money they waste on booze (and fuck up their kids with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome that they pass off as "special needs" and "autistic" - not saying it can't be also autism but it's definitely also FAS, I will die on this hill and they caused the problem themselves with pickled eggs and sperm).

He's mentioned how lack of travel ability fucked him over, so my assumption is he was either going to go to them, or they would come to Boston, and he'd film... something, I don't know what. But then the lockdowns happened and fucked him over.

Now, of course, Bob should have been able to just get them to come back in 2022 when the restrictions eased, but that didn't happen. What did happen, was in 2020, Bob got fired and made a complete jackass out of himself, culminating in the infamous Lindsay slap down. Bob was cancelled by his fellow leftists, lost a huge amount of fans and patron subscribers, and has been treading water ever since, meaning those internet celebrities have no interest in working with him again, which is why he frequently talks about his 'friends' who turned on him.

But as Bob has said, even a few days ago, cancelling isn't real. So he doesn't understand that he was cancelled, because he's too dumb to get it. He doesn't understand that the left has dismissed him and cast him out. He assumes he's still in good standing because he can't envision an intellect like his ever being regarded as bad. So clearly, it must be the coof, which was that evil Drumpf's fault only.

I get why Bob drives people off, but for some reason he's the one that just rubs me the wrong way, that I want to see give up and go away. It mostly why I come back to the Farms since most of the lolcows I used to follow like Dobson or Spoony have had their arcs and I've lost interest in them. Or I stopped following them for too long and now I can't back in. When Bob goes, I'll probably be here for a while, but after that, there won't be much tying me to the farms and I'll probably say my goodbyes.
