What a brilliant and practical idea that would've been... in fucking opposite world. It was one of the most brutal, costly and miserable wars ever fought in human history, where families were torn apart, people were forced to fight against their friends and neighbors, and their homes and neighborhoods because bloody battlegrounds littered with bodies. An entire nation traumatized after becoming its own enemy. The only reason it isn't remembered with the same level of horror and disdain as the First World War is because it was fought for the eradication of slavery, one of humanity's most evil institution.

MovieBob has the bright fucking idea that we should have made it even more bloody and costly. Y'know, so more people could be traumatized, more families could be broken, and everybody could watch their towns and neighborhoods be turned into mass graves and death camps, filled with the bodies of people they knew and interacted with on a daily basis. Keep in mind, this would be in addition to all the strife, turmoil and state-sponsored executions already going on at the time. But sure, let's make a bad situation worse so we can answer "The Redneck Question" with a fine ol' solution!

Fuck's sake, we didn't even treat the Nazis like this, and the Holocaust is remembered as one of the most horrible things in modern history. There were fucking SS officers who went back to doing menial government work in society afterward. Fucked up? Yeah. But thankfully enough people took the right lesson from WW2 that violently slaughtering an entire subsection of the population to cleanse them from society was a fucked up and evil thing to do, and shouldn't even be done as retaliation.
