Sonichu Bob died in Sonichu

The thing that strikes me is that Chris did not portray himself as founding or creating CWCville. Firstly, to be fair to him, he did create CWCville, warts and all. Secondly, it is curious to me that in a world where he is so loved and so powerful, he doesn't have a direct role in creating the town.

But I agree with those who say that making Bob the founder is a shout-out. My guess is that the fact that in order for Bob not to be mayor, he might have to be dead is something that Chris didn't relish and ignored as much as possible.

As to why his parents aren't in the comics: the comic world is Chris' fantasy land. It is inhabited by fictional characters and real-world people who Chris wants to fantasize about. His parents just had no role in that world.

This was basically going to be the plot of my story (only replace Sonic totem with Anchuent Cherokee Chief). I even was going to explain why the fuck there's this random dictatorship in the middle of Virginia; Bob was awarded the land by the US government to govern independently because he could trace his ancestors back to when a treaty in that effect was signed.

First of all, the Sonic totem is creepy as hell.

Second, I can't believe I'm going to put this much thought into something Chris wrote, but his claims of Cherokee ancestry not withstanding, Ruckersville wasn't historically Cherokee land. They were mostly in western/southwestern Virginia in historic times, as well as Tennessee, Georgia and the Carolinas. The part of Virginia OPL is living in now was mostly Saponi, Monacan and Manahoac land when the Europeans first got here. Of course, nobody's ever heard of the Saponi or Manahoac, so its a lot less sexy to claim descent from them.

Of course, considering OPL thinks that the "Cherokian braves" dressed like Sonichus and fought the "Wasabi clan," I'm not sure he really knows (or cares) all that much about First Nations history.

Building an imaginary town is HARD WORK. Chris doesn't have time for that, there's adventures to be had!

In other words, he doesn't enjoy playing Bob the Builder. Bob the Builder doesn't go fast.

Yeah, I don't think the whole "ability to shoot fireballs is a recessive trait" aspect of the story would have held up to independent research, either.
 
Just change Bob to Kim Il Sung, Chris to Kim Jong Il, and CWCville to DPRK.
That scene in the comic where Jamsta Sonichu mentions that CWCville was founded by CWC's father and then passed down to him, and how much Jamsta was praising them? The whole scenario is strikingly similar to North Korea!
 
Sorry, but Bob-Chan never died in the Sonichu comics. He simply left CWCville under Chris' reign. Bob-Chan is more than likely alive and kicking in the comics (unless Chris were to make a modern-day Sonichu comic that acknowledges Bob's death in real-life).

Maybe he didn't want to name it RFCville because it could be pronounced as "Ruh-FUCK-ville". This is "comic Bob", so he probably shares Chris' alleged hatred of crudeness and vulgary. That, or the far more likely explanation that Chris' ego is so big that couldn't stand CWCville ever being named after anyone but himself.

Bob honestly really seemed like the one person who was averse to Chris's aspirations and trying to ground his son back to reality(which in turn, provided content from Chris in those days). It honestly seems like it was more resentment than anything else.

Another thing to consider is that many people in the South who claimed "Cherokee blood" were often, in reality, part African. They told their kids they were Cherokee to cover that up, and they believed it. It's only recently as people are having their genomes traced back that they're learning this.

In other words, Chris could be a niggo instead.
