I saw an interesting TED Talk yesterday about how involuntary isolation and loneliness makes the brain degenerate faster. Lonely people have higher chances of developing neurological conditions like schizophrenia and dementia.

Coupled that with the effect diabetus can have on the brain and the fact that Bob spends every waking hour of his life angry and there might be some truth to the meme that his brain is wilting away inside his skull.

Sony is a fuck huge company. When Disney bought out 20th Century Fox they didn't even get the whole company and all they got was the movie division. It's like saying someone is going to buy out Walmart, Apple, or Microsoft.

Sony is so large that they can be carried by a single division in their company alone and that's if all other branches were pulling in zero profits. It's also highly doubtful that they'll ever let go of Spiderman since he's now tied to the Playstation division. They own the rights to be the sole publisher of Spiderman games as per the new agreement. This isn't something that Disney can take away like EA Star Wars rights. Spiderman is to Sony what masterchief is to microsoft.

Yeah, and one of the first things Toomes says when he learns about it expresses concern for what will happen to his workers, not himself. Sure, he kills one of them later, but that's because the guy threatens to sell everyone on his team out. Toomes is meant to be a sympathetic villain, ruthless but with a code of honor and looks after his own, and is actually well written enough to be one of the best MCU villains (in a rather short list) because of it.

But Robert just hates him because he's one of those brute manual laborers. Since he gets backlash for shitting on factory workers, I guess he's going after small business owners now because he figures maybe the trash left will be more sympathetic to calls to liquidate the kulaks.

He's gotta be careful though, because Toomes has a black wife and mixed race daughter. Can't make any "improperly evolved subhuman" comments that might be taken as directed at his family...
