Ignore the clickbaity title and Matt Stone's slightly snotty attitude, and focus on Bob's reponses as retold by Matt and Trey.

 
The title of this thread lead me to believe that the dude may have said something "woke" or apologized for his jokes or whatever, given the title of the Star Wars, South Park, etc. threads and whatnot. I'm shocked that it's because he's actually gone.

The first time I saw his standup, I was 17-18 years old, and it ruined my childhood (as I watched Full House as a kid). It was hilarious. lol.

RIP, Bob.

Damn, the celebrity deaths in the recent months have been absolutely brutal!

I understand what you mean. I would have a different reaction if it was Justin Bieber found dead. I wouldn't understand why people would be so upset. But with someone like Sagat that hits somewheres deep.

My guess is that this was back in the early 2000’s.

Back when both celebrity culture and NYC was still somewhat normal. Now, 20 years later, it’s just soulless.
