When Chris passes away, the weens are going to compete to see who will get the honor to be the Chandler equivalent of the Poe visitor. Every Christian Love Day, the Chandler visitor will visit his grave and leave behind a large McDonald's sweet tea and healthy McWrap for our fallen LOL cow.

Seems like a fitting grave, despite not being father of the year material, Bob was a really accomplished man and his grave really does fit his lifelong achievements.

I just wonder how barb is going to fit her hoard in the grave though, so she can take her lifelong accomplishments to the trash pile in heaven.

At least a part of her trash already got a ceremonial cremation, so there's some of it waiting in the afterlife for her.

It's called a 'tandem crypt'. It's very common to have two caskets in one space - it's a very deep building and they fit in head to toe.

Go to any cemetery and see.

No, you do not have to be buried in the ground. There's no legal precedent for this.

Yes, this IS a mausoleum. Entombment in a wall, in a larger building, completely qualifies.

What's with all of the misinformation being shat around?

Is this crypt photo real? If so, what a waste of money. It looks like Lenin's tomb!

Why spring for it? Some sort of latent grandiosity in both of them? Maybe they didn't get one for Chris, since he probably doesn't care where he's buried and they wanted to just treat themselves for once.

It's brass letters on a smooth stone without any detailing. It's not like it's a marble statue of an angel weeping over the internet-lumberjacks final resting place.

I have no clue what these kinds of arrangements cost, but I'd argue they are on the low end of the spectrum.

It's disappointing that Chris' trolls/watchers have more respect and remember Bob more than his own family does. (:_(

@ Erunn, A bit misplaced if you ask me.

Yes Bob was a very interesting person, very knowledgable/well-read with probably a lot of interesting stories to share. Yet he failed Chris as much as Barb, and likely was the more culpable parent since he was fairly sane and well-read compared to his wife.

You'll also have to make sure all the urns you buy fit in it, so I hope Barb took care of hers because Chris would probably fuck it up and buy a wrong size somehow.

I would say Chris would just make an urn out of LEGO or CRAYOLA FUCKING MODEL MAGIC, but he's far too greedy to give up his stuff.

Would Chris spring for a coffin for his mother?

Or would he settle for a large garbage bag or several bed sheets ( I know zero chance of a lego casket..)?

I assume Rocky is no longer helping him with his life?

Why WOULD Chris get special treatment and be buried with his parents? Borb each had multiple children, after all.

Chris said on the Catie date that Bob wanted to be buried with the wallet made for him by the troop he was scout master of.

Instead Barb had him cremated.

Those are his ashes in there, not his corpse, and I wrote to that effect on that on the CWCki a while ago.
