More likely than not, when Chris goes he'llnot have any family or friends to take care of what needs to be done. In situations like that, the state/city comes in and sells off whatever they can in an auction to pay for burial. If it's known who he is, he'll be buried as close as they can get to his wishes if they're written down. If not, he'll be cremated. They hold the cremains for a few years and if they go unclaimed, they're dumped in a common grave with others who died unclaimed that year.
But more than likely some ween will be able to identify and claim him, if they're able to prove they actually knew him. Then again, we don't know whether or not Borb have a plot set up for him somewhere, but probably not.

Most likely, Chris' death is at least 30-40 years off. Who knows what will happen by then. Maybe some social worker/group home will get involved and help him plan his funeral. Maybe it will have occurred to him to make arrangements. Maybe there will have been an alien invasion and he will have been incinerated in the first wave of attack.

It's just too far off to make any sort of conjecture.

I would argue that as a parent who knows thier child is "challenged" she should be making arrangements for their care after they've died.

Barb knows Chris, better then anyone else in the world, she knows he can't handle adult life on his own but I don't think she's made a single plan for Chris after she's gone. Wouldn't a parent who cares want to ensure thier child is looked after once they can no longer watch over them?

I know that if I had a child like Chris (God forbid) I would have already set up plans in case I met my end early by accidental death by making sure he has a responsible guardian lined up, a secure home that paid off or make sure he can get into a group style home so he won't be all alone until his end comes. Plus I'd leave a fair chunk of change to offset any unexpected events that might pop up...say like a house fire for example.

I doubt Barb has done any of these thing and by her record she won't do any. Chris life is hell because she, for what ever reason, decided not to try to help him but to just let him be a man-child for the rest of his life probably because it's easier to humor him then to try to help him grow up.

Chris life is the way it is by 40/60. 40% is his own fault because he is a lazy dumbass but 60% is his parents fault for letting him be that gaint lazy dumbass when they should have done....I dunno, something.

Chris is the perfect storm of fail but in the end he is the one who has to live with that failure even if most of it was someone's else's fault. In 5 or 10 years Barb will be gone and Chris will have wasted what ever piddly amount of money she left behind. He will be all alone, destitute and God knows what else by then. If he thinks life is hell now, well he ain't seen nothing yet.

It's enough to make you cry.

Part of the reason that Chris can't completely handle adult life is because Barb won't let him be an adult (or encourage him to become an adult). Chris has taken on a few more responsibilities since Bob died, but he still asks Barb's permission before making plans for himself, and he has a fucking curfew.

Barb is encouraging, aiding, and abetting Chris's dependence on her, probably because she wants to ensure that he'll never abandon her. Barb is the biggest factor holding Chris back from having a relatively normal adult life.

(And WTF was she thinking bringing him to the Fashion Square Mall on the night of the GameStop incident? She knew he'd been banned from there. Crazy bitch.)

:semperfidelis:God damn, I miss bob, that man was a true patriot

In some of the recorded conversations with trolls, Barb came of as oddly charming. Instead of rising to the obvious bits of troll bait, he just kinda rolled with it. I liked that about him.

He certainly lived a full life, which included a few notable accomplishments (although not as notable as Chris and Barb would have you believe).

Agreed. Let's make sure not to turn this into "What happens after X dies" thread, folks. Besides, it's already been all figured out: Nude catapulting.

Is Kiwifarms that optimistic or is it more hope for the ride to never end?

There is no way Chris spends the rest of his life alone after Barb dies. He'll seek out human companionship for sure! Let's just say things will get very interesting after Barb dies.

You know damn well Barb thinks she's above the rules. She thinks of Chris as a child (probably appropriate). In her mind Chris was banned from going into the mall alone, but it's perfectly fine if she's there chaperoning him (even though she failed spectacularly at this).

He's been seeking out human companionship his whole life and look where he is. At this point, he's locked into this cycle of perpetual aloneness save someone who comes by and understands his medical plights (like a case worker).

I'm saying that when Barb dies the trolls will swoop in like lions and have a feast. His life will be in their hands. He will be a marionette.

A bunch of elderly weens surrounding a shallow grave with a sonichu statue to mark the grave, trying to find a way to get the last ruse out of Chris, but in their state of dementia they do not realise he's long gone.
There's been alot of depressing shit on the forums in general. But the thought of not only the entire Chandler family in the grave together but weens in their twilight years still screaming julay at Chris who isn't even alive anymore has got to be the darkest thought I've encountered on here.

Chris is still super paranoid though. Do you think barbs death will lead to him opening up again? Objective question.

Barb is his life raft keeping him alive and (somewhat) sane. It'll be interesting to see who steps in when Barb dies. Someone that's not a troll is going to have to realize he's all by himself, and do the bare minimum to make sure he stays alive. Although I doubt anyone (who isn't a troll) knows his capability for getting totally and utterly into mayhem, so he'll cause more of it, he won't have leash.

Basically I think Chris is more afraid of being alone than being completely controlled by trolls. If the govt doesn't step in and put him in a home after Barb dies, someone will and they'll milk him to the very last lol.

He'll be in an even more dire need to find a sugar mommy. It'll be ironic. He's going to think he is so smart to search for someone to exploit, but in the end nobody is dumb enough to be played by him, so the search will only make himself vulnerable to be exploited. Basically, the same thing that's already happening but dialed up due to absence of Barb and Bob keeping troubles at bay.

Y'know, if she actually had kept an eye on him, things probably would've been alright. Even if the mall was super dead set on kicking them out, if they approached her and told her to get out, I can't imagine they'd call the cops.
And Chris would still ignore him... :heart-empty:

I don't give a shit what others think: Bob deserved better. He tried, by gods, he tried. his legacy was squandered over stupid bullshit.
Dude had his issues. No doubt. But, then again, don't we all? He was in his 60s when Chris was born. If you look into the underlying factors it's obvious Bob tried than gave up as Chris proved his worthlessness. I seriously doubt his relationship with Barb was much of anything, up until the end, that is.

He is actually, I believe, eligible for burial in Arlington. My dad is (though I won't put the old man there unless he asks) as a two year draftee. I wish he would be buried there. It would certainly be a better legacy than he has with Chorb.

Did Bob love Barb? Who knows. He apparently had enough affection to put into his will to bury them both in a mausoleum. I am actually pissed that she didn't honor his wishes. What a bitch. Dude deserves better than those two idiots.

Oh man. He's going to shack up with some old, fat bitch in a trailer isn't he? Nothing can convince me he isn't going to end up with some 60+ year old pig now.
