Here's the gist of it: Bob worked at General Electric, and General Electric holds a ton of patents for things. Bob worked on some of the projects that led to those patents. So did a thousand other engineers.

Contrary to what Chris would claim, Bob did not invent the 2-liter soda bottle.

Please. Are we expected to believe that Christian Weston Chandler-creator of Sonichu and Rosechu, descendant of Anne Boleyn, stud muffin extraordinaire-is the progeny of decidedly unglamorous and anonymous lower-middle class workers?

Not to mention dat Cherokee heritage. Chris truly has it all!

Well the first one at least looks about right. Not sure if this deserves a thread though.

I think a better question is "Did Bob ever actually claim to hold patents on this shit?" which would still probably fall under who the fuck cares.

I remember one time Chris commented on a youtube video about the history of Lego. His comment was something along the lines of that they should have mentioned Robert Chandler who created the plastic mold machine that makes legos possible.

In before the loch.

I'm not sure what the point of this thread is. Bob worked for GE, he died in a rat's nest covered in insect bites. His wife and retarded son both disappointed him deeply. I guess it's really still awesome that he invented some shit nobody knows about.

I really don't think it's necessary to bump a topic just to say it's dumb. Alec succinctly answered the question and everyone else jumped behind him to call this thread garbage. I'm locking the thread only to stop more people from complaining.
