Finally decided to dive into Boogie lore and he's really one of the worst cows I've ever come across. He's the kind of person that damages anyone he spends time with, would be harmless if people just ignored him, but then he always finds a way to worm his way into everyone's consciousness so he can't be ignored. He's like an extremely ugly, stinky weed that always sprouts right in the middle of your bedroom no matter how many times you remove it.

He's lied so much that I believe there's really nothing underneath the Boogie persona, which itself is nothing because it changes so frequently. I legitimately think that he may not have a soul with the way he lies. It comes way too easily for him.

Rarely do you see a person whose inner "beauty" exactly matches the repulsiveness of his outer appearance. Speaking of:

Him giving up on his weight loss says a lot about the kind of person he is. There aren't that many aspects of your life that you can actively control and make a huge change in, but your weight is one of them. Having the discipline to stick to a strict regimen for a long period of time is a great sign that you could perhaps improve another area of your life with similar discipline.
The fact that he refused to diet and exercise, opting to go for a fucking surgery when the answer is just to watch your calories, and then went ahead and pissed away the results of that to become even fatter than he was in the beginning really shows how he views adversity in life. Rather than something to overcome on the way to acheiving your goals, he sees it as something to avoid, even if it means destroying yours and others lives. It's very very pathetic.

He fascinates me with how he can be so vile without actually committing any "serious" crimes. Even though it's mostly "just lying" on the surface, it's hard to ignore the effect he's had on all the people around him and the people who (he made) believe in him over the years and how unapologetic he is about it. Not to mention the way he's destroying his own body with no regard for how it affects him or others. It should all be harmless like you say, but with Boogie it's really not.

This is one of his worst traits imo. The constant frustration and manipulation he puts those near him through. It really takes a toll on you over time and it's very cruel to knowingly put people through that.

It has been said before, many times but it appears that everyone that sees the odd couple for the first time comes to this conclusion.

It’s also telling how white trash she is by the full sleeve cheetah tats. No one told her that it might be a bad decision and this came long after the move to Boogies McMansion. None of the manservants or Boogie ever spoke up.

right now she is stuck in Boogies orbit, and has stuck by him so far, so she is either getting paid very well or Boogie is a major upgrade from trailer park meth parents.

Blue put in layman's terms for me: Some of the cases included evictions, tickets, family court, abuse, protective orders and drinking.

So Dezi's father (Gary Davis), former step father (Shon Mccanless) and current step father (David Allen Stone) have all had brushings with the law. Her first step father (Shon Mccanless), with only 18 appearances is the "best" of the bunch, and he's the dude who kicked a lady in the face who was holding a baby. Step dad #1 is also likely the one who "abused" Dezi. My head cannon was that the current step dad was "alright" but then I remembered we hadn't seen what his criminal record looked like. Well now we know. All the father figures in her life are losers, Boogie included.

I'd say this one actually tracks with being anxious. Feeling anxious in a social setting + getting way too drunk while trying to use alcohol as a social lubricant is a tale as old as time.

I doubt it but that's mostly because I doubt he ever had the money for that to happen. Considering how little he's brought in lately, and what we know about his income from what he's told us and the documentary, he probably couldn't afford even the cheapest hooker for a weekend, much less to live with him, appear on camera together, and attend shows with him. As has been pointed out, she didn't have a dad, and she's twenty, maybe twenty-one at this point, so she's just too young to know any better and has daddy issues.

No idea how long she'll stick with him though. From what I've seen, she might be considering ditching him.

It wasn’t a “farm” so much as it was a “double wide trailer condemned by the county”, and the animals were less “farm animals” and more “rabid raccoons that got in after maw-maw done left the screen door open again”.

I actually believe Boogie on this one. He claims that Dez 2 lived a farm life. Based on the location of where she lives, it seems fairly plausible, plus she has shown her expertise in caring for pigs.

Spot on, the more you see him talk about sexual stuff, the more obvious it is.

A few years ago I had a client who was a Sexual Therapist and she had some pretty interesting experiences with the Trans community and it sort of layered over to what Boogie does as well. She said (paraphrasing here, it was a while ago) "A lot of the times what you're seeing isn't someone who truly believes they were born with the wrong gender, you're witnessing them play out their fantasies in the public eye" which led to something along the lines of "You'd be surprised how many people will make up a lie for something that they wished had happened to them".

I used to just think he made up these lies to sound like he had an interesting life because he clearly doesn't, but more and more it seems like were witnessing some sick role play fantasy admissions.
