And he was still acting like he was doing such a good thing btw paying for these girls, while ALSO denying being a John.

Boogie has literally claimed exactly that btw. You know, the joke common among all guys about how the stripper or local Hooters waitress is actually into him for real? Steven presents that as his reality without a hint of irony. This clip is a must-watch. It begins with him almost proudly exclaiming that his teacher-of-the-year award winning mother used to prostitute herself out for drugs. He ends the clip by talking about "having the chance to fuck the loose slut in high school".
It's a topic that Boogie purports himself to be intimately familiar with, and a subject he's spoken about at great length in the past. The difference between sugar babies and escorts/prostitutes, that is. Beyond the fact that all of this talk from him is just the most obvious coping, it's also impossible to believe even 1% of what he says regarding any of it. This is because he lied for years about never using sites like SeekingArrangements, pursuing sugar baby "relationships", hiring escorts/prostitutes, and promised all of his followers that the hooker jokes (his #2 joke behind Mountain Dew) were always just that and never something he actually involved himself with IRL.
He eventually admitted to it and of course dove even deeper into this admission in the Clum doc, but even now he desperately tries to reframe the narrative that he himself has voluntarily exposed over the years. A part of this is focusing only on the sugar baby aspect, a highly watered down one at that, and distancing himself from any talk about hiring actual hookers straight up. We know he's done that though and he's once again admitted to doing so, so none of this coping can be trusted.
Below is a video he once Tweeted out speaking on these differences. For whatever reason it is very, very important that he convey to his followers the differences between these totally separate brand of "sex workers".
If you go to the replies on the Tweet for that video, Boogie explains even more his approach to this with a skeptical follower. He focuses on how he the sex was never important for him and even claims that he barely even considered sex when hiring sugar babies off of Seeking Arrangements. He even claims that he wasn't having sex with most of these women (actually true) because in his words, he's not a sexual person and doesn't care about sex.
Notice how in the 1st and 3rd screenshots, he says that sugar baby relationships often lead to genuine relationships unlike prostitutes. This is a major part of this for Boogie, the level of delusion seen here. We've watched it play out many times and have even heard firsthand accounts about these efforts from Lucy Foxx. He showers them with gifts, money, and annoying amount of "good morning" text attention at first, giving them whatever they want. Then slowly attempts to manipulate and guilt them into transitioning into more of a standard girlfriend role, while dropping the transactional nature of their sugar baby dynamic that brought them together in the first place.
This was Tweeted 2/16/21. The third screenshot below was Tweeted on the same day just four hours later, and there he acknowledges that he's also "experienced both", referring to classic prostitution and sugar babies.
Maybe some of these fictionalized sugar babies you paid after meeting on Seeking don't line up exactly with your common definition of street whores. However, Boogie was also separately hiring prostitutes and escorts on a regular basis as well, aside from his ventures on the "meat market" that is SeekingArrangements. Boogie's since admitted to hiring prostitutes himself. He did so often when he was out of town for conventions, trips for his travel channel, Disney etc.
That is 100% contradicted by his other comments on the matter that he voluntarily boasted about on his Twitch streams. Like in this one where he starts off by saying that he's always been hyper-sexualized as a result of what he blames on his "childhood abuse" and working in "the porn industry". He goes on to say he was totally obsessed with porn all day every day and that all he thought about after his divorce was sex and getting laid. He really loves bragging about "working in the porn industry in the 90's and early 2000's, doing web design...". It's like he has that line recited from memory. I've heard him spontaneously mention that in the exact same way on many different podcasts, streams, videos Tweets, etc. Strange behavior.
Watch the following clips from that stream and then try to tell me that Boogie isn't a criminally hypersexualized pervert who belongs in a cell. Contrast these boastful clips with what he said above about not caring about sex, being a sexual person, or expecting sex from the "LA 10" sugar babies he was racking up $200k~ in expenses paying for. Here is a 10 minute perverted, degenerate clip from this stream uploaded to catbox with other moments from the stream included.

Its always amusing how much Boogie tries to swing the narrative to whatever HE believes people would like him more from. He might put out a poll here or there, and a tweet or post suggesting something but hes trying to fish out if he should really come out with a decision he already made or if he should try to reword his decision.
Him going back and forth over his constant use of the sex industry is a prime example.
