IT obviously, he's basically a MSPWhat industry is it?
My boomer aunt posted a listicle of like 12 easter table settings that were blatant AI. Captioned it "Amazed by all of the creativity!"@Bubble Ba'ath (can't quote), for some reason all of the boomers at my place of employment are absolutely fascinated by AI slop. Without fail, every one of the older folk with a phone will be gobsmacked by some shitty TikTok/reel/whatever.
Are boomers dumb because of all the leaded gasoline burned and released into the atmosphere during their lifetimes?
Lead plumbing is actually not that bad and arguably fine, most of what got the romans was the lead sweetened wine which was far worse. Anyways, burning tetraethyl lead is also far worse than plumbing.Lead paint and lead in plumbing fixtures too.

I would say its the fact that boomers were raised by TV they in many cases almost never have time to stop and think.I think about this a lot. It’s my current opinion that age exposes the real damage done by lead poisoning.
I went on a kick talking to old people a while ago. I mean like OLD old, pre Boomer old people, seeking them out and talking to them. What shocked me was how much sharper they were than boomers 20+ years younger.
This generation of olds is declining much more steeply and rapidly than previous olds. It’s alarming.
Its why when boomers screech "respect your elders" it rings hollow for later generations. Elders once had something to offer because they survived for such a long time in difficult situations, so clearly they have something to teach. Boomers had the most pampered, easy-mode upbringing and adulthood. My father in law a bumbling fucking moron, and yet he makes 6 figures because he's been at his job for forever. Despite this money he still somehow manages to be almost always out of cash at any given time. If he had been born into any other generation he would have died long ago. Theres no great challenge they overcame and therefore no reason to give a shit about what they say.I would say its the fact that boomers were raised by TV they in many cases almost never have time to stop and think.
When I look at older generations they're sharper because many of them ate and live healthy.
It turns out that if you dont have a heart attack and keep your body healthy til 95 you tend to be pretty sharp.

Almost three-quarters of boomers (73%) say they value stability in their community over affordability for younger generations to move in. Meanwhile, 59% of boomer homeowners would vote for a political candidate who prioritizes protecting home values, even if it meant fewer people could afford homes. That’s a stark difference from the 49% of boomer non-homeowners who feel the same.
Even if they’d like to keep their home values high, many boomers don’t seem interested in paying the taxes that go with those lofty valuations. Roughly two-thirds of boomers (67%) believe senior homeowners should be exempt from paying property taxes, even if that means younger home buyers have to pay more.
Boomers' views seem more complex in other cases. Although almost 2 in 3 boomers (65%) think the government needs to do more to help first-time home buyers, just 1 in 8 boomer homeowners (12%) say they care if staying in their home prevents younger people from entering the housing market.
Only 1 in 4 boomers worry about burdening their family with their homes upon their death. Yes, because the burden is clearing up the boomer’s disgusting home that they put carpet over hardwood floors. Reality though, the burden is that they have leveraged their home to shit and when it comes time to handle the property it will be in the red.

Not saying this is every Boomer I've dealt with during jobs I've had, what pushed me to quit a Lowe's cashiering job I was already floundering at last year was a Boomer cussed me out because company policy required him to show an ID for a discount. He did not have it on him, and he cursed me out as the woman he was with (I guess his wife) tried to quietly calm him down and explain it's likely nationwide policy, she paid for what they needed and apologized to me on behalf of him before they both left.Fat 50 year olds berating male employees as a power move
The amount of people who stroll around without an ID is mind boggling.show an ID for a discount. He did not have it on him
Leaded gas is from the 1920's, hardly anyone left alive from before that era anymore.I went on a kick talking to old people a while ago. I mean like OLD old, pre Boomer old people, seeking them out and talking to them. What shocked me was how much sharper they were than boomers 20+ years younger.
There's a house in a prime location that's literally falling apart and the boomer there refuses to sell. And that's just one of many.or the home becomes too difficult to maintain.
Since when?we are in a buyer’s market for residential real estate.
Fucking hell...Roughly two-thirds of boomers (67%) believe senior homeowners should be exempt from paying property taxes, even if that means younger home buyers have to pay more.
Did you just skip genX? the ikea catalog generation?but they seem frugal as hell as a reaction to the Millennials and Boomers.
Late boomers were the helicopter parents, genX were the ipad parents, millennials hardly have any kids.Their kids grow up to be Gen X, the helicopter parents. Then millennials hand their kids an iPad
Knocking on doors or leaving flyers to shovel snow and wash windows are the sorts of things a 12 year old should be doing to make pocket money and learn how it all works. Not someone who is presumably an adult already (supposed to be) employed.
