Boomer Hate Thread

Gran Tornio is a shitty boomer self indulgence movie in retrospec.
I’m ashamed to admit I liked the movie at first when it came out but it’s about a shitty boomer parent who raised his kids poorly and now prefers a bunch of immigrants who are bent towards gang activity over his own flesh and blood.

The main character is a Korean war veteran and thus is in the silent generation like Eastwood.

Yes, anything to deny inheritance to their own children, which I’ve noticed some get really fucking angry about. They are supposed to be the ones taking, not giving, and they will never let you forget it.
We are going to see a new boomer stereotype emerge soon now that they are on deaths door. My aunt recently called my mom to inform her “actually I think our father who died 20 years ago wanted his will split up this way” the gravy train paid for by the great generation has run out. And boomers who are related to each other will soon be eating each other alive over mere pennies. Desperately trying to sell of scraps in order to not share the fate they put their parents through.

I'm not sure I believe you. I've seen some really massive inheritance fights from one side of my family. Comically huge amounts of cash and land and even in our retarded slap fights no ones tried to restart one 20 years later.

I absolutely do anticipate people looking to fight over increasingly shrinking inheritances. As costs of living keep increasing and people having less inheritances than anticipated, people will be fighting over shrinking pieces of pie.

I saw it go on a couple decades ago when I had depression-era relatives die. Even though they died in their 90s and were working class people, they still left behind hundreds of thousands of dollars. People started “reinterpreting” inheritance amounts right away. So and so got a $5k personal loan from her so she should have that taken from her share, shit like that. There’s also a pervasive attitude from boomers that what’s theirs is theirs so if they’re going to drain it fast, then that’s their right. Going to see a lot of selfish behavior from boomers these next couple decades.

Had a boomer in line ordering pizza and took literally 15 minutes just to make the order then after that senile rambling order couldn't even pay with a card. Declined multiple times. Finally raged out and quit and decided just to eat something I had at home rather than deal with this boomer any more.

You know what, I think ive been a bit ignorant of my blessings after reading that. I can't imagine not just forgiving a small 5k loan to family much less become a ghoul looking to rip it out of an inheritance.

Thats basically everything for Boomers.

He hates his wife and only married her because he thought he had to.
He hates his kids and only had them because he thought he had to.
He has a boat, but never uses it and only has it because he thinks he has to.

Its honestly kinda sad.

They had a script that worked for them their whole life (and still does) like no person ever to have existed on planet earth. Sadder is anyone who took in the boomer's infantile advice and worldview, listened to that script and tried to use it without being a boomer.

Boomers ruined the prices for old cars. I found this dealer on tiktok called vanguard auto sales. And, jesus christ on the fucking cross, their prices are insane.
Their cheapest vehicle is a 1991 Toyota pickup with 4wd and 71k miles, and the price: OVER $70k

Almost all their classic vehicles in their inventory are over $100k

Genuinely this is why I basically gave up on muscle cars and malaise era cars as something to like and have given into the cigarette car trend.

I'm seeing some parents (mainly the Generation Jones, the 60s year borns) are transferring some of their own retirement money to their kids own IRAs now to prevent this and also help them at least start a retirement portfolio because of how fucked the cost of living is getting. If your parents have a sizeable retirement portfolio, try suggesting it, it could save a lot of trouble.

My late grandfather told me that he just walked away from his family when they started fighting over the inheritance after the funeral for his mother. I love how he told it, "I looked at your grandmother, and she looked at me, we had the same look in our eyes, and same thought in our heads, 'let's get the fuck outta here.'"

I wonder if anyone who has boomer parents would actually ever be able to do this. Since most boomers are either divorced(thus have no money), are traveling and using it up, or will never share it until they die.

Not to be pessimistic, but any parents who would or could afford that would already be doing so. Unless they just were financially illiterate and some how also had enough money to share.

I'm glad to have a non-retarded family where the arguments were "No, YOU should have this."

Boomers love to steal from everyone around them, they're spiritual gypsies.

PL time: my Boomer parents bought a rundown Mobile home Park (they owned all the land and all the units), and I worked there for free for close to two decades under the agreement of when they go, I inherit it. I did everything: maintenance, landscaping, plumbing, renovations, evictions, all the paperwork. I turned that place from a slovenly, unlivable shithole, into an actually nice place to live. And I did it all for free, like a retarded Reddit Janny. My mom had one of her schizo episodes a few months after my dad died, and decided to sell the place. And you know what I got?

I got zilch, nada, goose egg, a vacation to cwcville, bossmanJack's bank account, the same amount that Ethan Ralph's baby mama receives in child support, absolutely fucking nothing.
A huge portion of my life wasted, so many lucrative opportunities passed up, numerous life-altering injuries, all for nothing.

And her defense? "iM sOo bRoKe, I nEeD tHe mOnEy oR iM gOnNa sTaRvE1!1!". Even though her income WITHOUT the rent from the park was still close to $8,000 a month between her social security and my dad's pension, and her actual outgoing expenses with all of her bills plus food, gas, and leisure was under $2000.

Everyday I dream of the day of the pillow.

I always laugh when I see a job out there that requires actual skills trying to pay you only $20 an hour if even that. Granted I live in a rural area, but I STILL see jobs that require a 4 year degree trying to pay less than $20 an hour. Nigger, I'm not even getting out of bed for that much anymore unless I have no job and no choice. My area is rural, but not THAT rural. Shit still costs money here. I'm especially not leaving my current company to work for your ass when you barely give benefits, and pay like shit.

So many fucking jobs out there run by Boomers and rich Millennials who want you to run around ragged working for them, and they don't pay you shit. They'll pay you $2 more per hour than fucking McDonalds and post that shit on job sites, and then require 10x the work and experience needed to get that job compared to McWagies which just requires you to show up to fucking work and hopefully not show up high.
They usually hire thirdies. They say no American would take that job in an attempt to justify bringing in H1Bs. Funny part is, jeets/mudshits working remote or even on a work visa will line up to get such a job, so it's always pays off.

Sometimes a junior or student slips by, but they will never hire those.

Kinda a buyers market when your average American has to compete with the entire third world and slave dalits, and their own rights and being born in USA works against them.

Assuming they meet in a normal fashion, white/asian couples are usually pretty stable.

Regardless of anyone's opinions of the vaccines, the worst case scenario is that they were actually effective and kept a few million extra boomers around for another decade. We spent billions developing a vaccine to keep useless geriatrics and deathfats alive longer to consume more welfare dollars.
Let’s face it, if Covid leaked out a decade earlier during King Obombers term, the only thing we’d ever hear about it would be a 30 second PSA after the local news to wash your hands and stay home if you feel sick and people going “hey, this cold/flu season is pretty bad” at the water cooler at work before talking about something else.

Jeets will continue to bog down the American economy unless something is done about it.

Unfortunately, while younger people on the right and center don’t like them, and the left might be grumbling about them behind closed doors….all it takes is some incident where someone caves a Jeets or twos head in and the #StopIndianHate will be out in 2020 BLM size overdrive thanks to their monopoly on the tech companies. Both mainstream left and right MSM channels will be in support of it. Lefties, who people claim don’t care for jeets behind closed doors, will be out in full force marching for them.

Also well, both boomer libs and boomer cons seem infatuated with jeets. Boomer libs because well jeets are brown and therefore can do no wrong, and boomer cons while they might not like illegal Hispanics raising hell in the inner city or nogs from Haiti eating pets are fine with jeets because of them being “nonviolent” and admire them due to their “work ethic.”

We’re stuck with jeets for a while, due to boomers worshipping their work ethic and being blind to their veiled motives, and millennials being spineless cowards who would rather be broke and on the streets rather then ever inconvenience a non white person.

It also doesn’t help that the next likely president elect, JD Vance, is married to an Indian woman.
