A perfect summary of Boomer mentality.@Alligator Alcatraz
I understand wanting your children to learn to fend for themselves, but what confuses me is that boomers and those of boomer mindset do it in such a way where they live in luxury while the child lives in near poverty. The boomer never joins the child in the lesser setting, they always maintain their own luxuries.
It's like riding a top-of-the-line bike in front of a child and telling the child "you gotta learn" then riding off. Then the child just sits there alone and struggles to ride a rusty old bike that isnt their size, has no training wheels, and they dont know how to so much as adjust the seat.
Like how hard is it to just help your kids? Provide some wisdom? The whole point of birthing the next generation is so they are better than you. If you have acquired resources or wisdom to make your children more capable of survival, then what is wrong with helping children? Why do children have to start from 0?
Most baby boomers didnt start from 0. They might have started at the bottom of the corporate ladder, but this was during a time where resumes were not needed, higher education degrees and certifications were not needed, post-war economy provided substaintial uplift, they had a homogenous society, there were less government regulations so people and the environment were more easily exploited, and they had the support of the previous generations who DID help their children.
It's all so mind boggling.
This really angers me. Those selfish fucks will defend their selfishness by saying, "But it's my money!" after they inherited the entire estate from their own parents.Yes, anything to deny inheritance to their own children, which I’ve noticed some get really fucking angry about. They are supposed to be the ones taking, not giving, and they will never let you forget it.
If its any consolation, those cars will likely be a fraction of their value after the boomers die off in 10-20 years.Boomers ruined the prices for old cars. I found this dealer on tiktok called vanguard auto sales. And, jesus christ on the fucking cross, their prices are insane.
Their cheapest vehicle is a 1991 Toyota pickup with 4wd and 71k miles, and the price: OVER $70k

Almost all their classic vehicles in their inventory are over $100k

Genuinely this is why I basically gave up on muscle cars and malaise era cars as something to like and have given into the cigarette car trend.
Please PLEASE tell me you don't talk to her anymore---better yet, ditched her stupid ass altogether.Boomers love to steal from everyone around them, they're spiritual gypsies.
PL time: my Boomer parents bought a rundown Mobile home Park (they owned all the land and all the units), and I worked there for free for close to two decades under the agreement of when they go, I inherit it. I did everything: maintenance, landscaping, plumbing, renovations, evictions, all the paperwork. I turned that place from a slovenly, unlivable shithole, into an actually nice place to live. And I did it all for free, like a retarded Reddit Janny. My mom had one of her schizo episodes a few months after my dad died, and decided to sell the place. And you know what I got?
I got zilch, nada, goose egg, a vacation to cwcville, bossmanJack's bank account, the same amount that Ethan Ralph's baby mama receives in child support, absolutely fucking nothing.
A huge portion of my life wasted, so many lucrative opportunities passed up, numerous life-altering injuries, all for nothing.
And her defense? "iM sOo bRoKe, I nEeD tHe mOnEy oR iM gOnNa sTaRvE1!1!". Even though her income WITHOUT the rent from the park was still close to $8,000 a month between her social security and my dad's pension, and her actual outgoing expenses with all of her bills plus food, gas, and leisure was under $2000.
Everyday I dream of the day of the pillow.
Just realized this, this extreme short slightness seen in modern corporations is nothing but the Boomer mentality here.A perfect summary of Boomer mentality.
"Kids these days are lazy. When I was in college I picked corn for a whole summer and saved $500 for a deposit on my first house!"
This really angers me. Those selfish fucks will defend their selfishness by saying, "But it's my money!" after they inherited the entire estate from their own parents.
MAGABoomers or Libboomers.
Woah, i can't believe a boomoid actually rubbed two braincells together. Most of them will just go "Bah, you're just lazy and don't care about others or the country".My job is having trouble finding staff and some boomer I was working with was like "Your generation don't wanna work these days." I was like, "Yeah, but to be fair you can work your ass off and not afford a house, family, car, hell even a vacation once a year, so what's the point? May as well stay home and play video games." He admitted he hadn't thought of it that way and that I had a point. XD
Assuming Becky doesn't send them all to the crusher cause she can't bother to make space...If its any consolation, those cars will likely be a fraction of their value after the boomers die off in 10-20 years.
Let's be real the boomers started that. They ran that 2013 TIME magazine called "The Me Generation" about millennials. I remember reading that thinking, nigga im literally a teenager?? Like let me spread my wings a bit before you go throwing these accusations around? Ffs.I'm noticing that every generation is being hated for being the selfish "me" generation.
Yeah I remember Boomers repeatedly putting Millennials down before Millennials retaliated with "okay boomer" as a way to blow them off. Boomers have an inexplicable unwarranted belief they have every right to shit on younger generations for some reason.Let's be real the boomers started that. They're not wrong, but the blame doesn't rest with Biden solely, Congress is the real problem. They borrow money against debt, raise the debt ceiling and shuffle debt around so they can borrow more, the Biden admin just contributed to the problem.
Zoomers are more of the “okay boomer”/“fuck boomers” generation, especially post 2000 Gen Z.Yeah I remember Boomers repeatedly putting Millennials down before Millennials retaliated with "okay boomer" as a way to blow them off. I did.My guess is the reason they did the switch, other then the trope of millennials being giant spineless faggots, is that they sense the time for their parents to pass on is near, and they’re hoping that if they show good boy/girl behavior, that get might get inheritance (lmao, no they aren’t).
