Boomers are starting to become ashamed of how easy they have had it.

Can someone explain to me why Boomers are always so fat, stupid, and talking slow? Every time I go shopping or if I stay at a hotel with guests who are Boomers, they all look like/talk like the people in that video, regardless of what state or city I'm in. It's really fucking weird.

Sure, Zoomers/Millennials can be pretty fucking stupid and fat too -- hell, a lot of them look like Shrek or Lizzo. That's a fact. But Boomers on the other hand are almost always fat and stupid -- like, almost always. I have no idea where that video was filmed, but it could have just as been recorded in my hometown or out of state where my family lives, and the customers at Home Depot would have looked/sounded the same.

Maybe a combination of things: alcoholism, constant inflammation from booze and garbage food, and the meds they are taking to combat the health problems caused by the things I just mentioned. I don't know for sure, just a guess.

I'd say they process things at a much slower speed but they don't process anything at all unless it involves self-adulation or money. This makes them come across as stupid, which they also are, but it's much worse than you think.

I would also be inclined to think that the Great Depression also caused the boomer's bad tastes, but other countries had it worse, and were starving, so why did this really only affect American boomers? Baby boomers diet really is borne out of the nifty 1950s industrial processes when it came to food. You have to understand before their frozen peas, and TV dinners most food was canned and your vegetables tended to be brown unless they we're harvested fresh.
As for media most boomers still are raised by a generation where the TV was basically their everything.

Another thing I've noticed is, in those videos of cops being called to noise complaints of kids playing and being kids, 9 times out of 10 a boomer is the one making the complaint. These same boomers will then complain how "addicted kids are to technology" and "how they should just play outside".

Yep these are almost always the no fun allowed we need to make an example of little Timmy skateboarding on a sidewalk of a half empty shopping center to prove a point.

$1800 is a lot and most pedestrian jobs like fast food and retail are not paying you 2k a month unless you're getting full time which is rare these days.

Are you suggesting that $1800 / month rent is a lot? This is just the normal rent in any major US city in a non-shit area. Starting wage for a 4 year educated engineer in the US is about 75k/year. If you can't afford it on your own, you get a roommate.

Living with mom is rightfully ridiculed as a sign of failure to launch. Are you going to fuck your girlfriend while your mother is in the next room?

I mean well In the boomer economy you coukd rent a cheap apartment working at McDonalds by yourself in a okay part of town. Now days you can't even afford a down-payment on a car without 30% interest and loans that make the mafia seem generous.
Look in 1978 you could leave the nest on a McDonalds wage and be chill. The same thing can't be said for 2025 when most states minimum wage is still 7.75 and modt workers are struggling while making 21 an hour due to inflation.

My grandparents were born during the Depression and their parents (my great-grandparents) obviously influenced them to eat anything they had on their plate, and that was still passed onto me as Gen Z. Though for my case, that influence has been broken. So that survival instinct to eat anything and everything you had on your plate, even if it was the most bland food, stuck for generations after.

Not for most people, though. The Greatest Generation unfortunately spawned the boomers and did everything they could so that their kids didn't have to suffer through what they had. the stereotype of the polo-and-khaki clad retired boomer pretending to be a hustler and shaker with ski glasses - basically pc principal from south park - has always been the main stereotype for boomers in my mind. It's like... 80s boomer. They want you to think they're gen x but don't know any of the culture stuff so they just fill dead air with empty platitudes.

The ones who still have a 70s mindset are slow, they probably fried their brains watching television from that era. I think they're dying off.

I love being told to find a roommate after getting ghosted and no one else wanting to leave their family's house.

I love being told to work to the bone and die early due to sleep deprivation just to be a slave to the material world.

I love being told free time comes later despite knowing any money I put in a 401k, any social security, etc, will all be gone by the time I can "afford" to have free time.

It's amazing how boomers believe everything at face value; like argued with this boomer and he believed that this (obviously illegal) thing was legit, and that there's a sort of supreme authority that allows things to exist and if it exists, it must be legit and 100% legal.

Like to these people, the law not having caught up to them, them lying through their teeth or even authorities not giving a shit is completely impossible; no it must be that this thing has legal documents and has received its approbation from authorities.

It's bizzare; but explains so many scams. Like, when they see ai slop, they must honestly believe that the platform checked and approved that the content is legitimate and 100% human made; they think that the content is pre-approved and confirming to all censors (like you'd see on TV) and therefore they can accept it at face value without thought, because someone filtered the content and deemed it safe, therefore it's safe to believe and comply.
