The musician
Sting is peak boomer, if this hasn't been posted already.

Dude what is this psy op? So many celebs are saying they are not leaving their kids anything - Jeff Goldblum (who is almost 80 with single digit children), Gordon Ramsey, Ashton Kutcher, Oliver Tree (didn't shit out kids before he died, thank god), Mila Kunis, Simon Cowell, Anderson Cooper (who is a fucking VANDERBILT btw), Jackie Chan, Marie Osmond, George Lopez, Akon, Warren Buffet, Kevin O Leary, Michael Bloomberg, Steve Job's wife, and more.
I really don't know how any rational person would think leaving their wealth to NGOs and charities is a good idea considering these organizations are 10% charity 90% money laundering. It also goes to show how these people (many of them boomers) have no theory of mind. Yes, they worked hard, but they also had a lot of luck to get into the positions they got into. Expecting their children to have that right kind of work ethic + luck is asinine. I can't imagine growing up in upper upper class privilege and then my parents just pull the rug out when I'm an adult. TBH I'd probably just start pulling cash from their wallets and selling their expensive crap they won't notice.
It's also worth noting that many of these celebrities cite massive wealth as being a burden, Sting said "an albatross around their neck." These people really see having mansions and flying private as burdens. They are sick in the head. They've twisted their entire world to convince themselves that they are the ones who really struggle, even living like kings. Sick shit.
I remember as a kid, my parents had no issue with me watching Full Metal Jacket, South Park, and all manner of horror movies.
This is honestly blowing my mind; I didn't think of how many of us were totally exposed to all manner of media. My parents had no rules for TV/movies as a kid. I remember watching Silence of the Lambs as a kid and lmfaod when Buffalo Bill tucked his penis between his legs. Why were they like this?
My wife and I have literally not watched broadcast television since around 2012. - Guess who wasn't fearful of the "Pandemic" and didn't get the Clot Shot? It's amazing what not having Fear Porn broadcast into your house does for your ability to see what's actually happening around you v.s. what the government claims.
I've had the same thought. What if you just didn't watch TV, read the news, keep up with current events? Like would your life be any worse? Would you have actually missed out on crucial information that would hold you back? No, you'd actually have been markedly better off.
I actually didn't have a TV before I got married. I preferred the focus of the house be on conversation when guests came over. And I find I almost never used it when I did have one. I hate how the TV is the focus of the primary gathering room in almost every house. Yes, my boomer parents thought this was downright horrifying.
