I remember seeing some wrinkly fucks online shitting their pants over prom/homecoming couple pics because the high school aged boys looked like high school aged boys. How DARE these babyfaced teenage boys get girls their own age instead of graciously letting oppressed old pedos online have them?! Never mind that the only time a teen girl goes for a boomer is if she was groomed or if she's planning a scam.
On the flip side, I also remember a young Asian woman athlete got posted on facebook. Comments had several old boomer hags sneeding about how she wasn't THAT hot, really! I don't even think the original post was calling her chink Helen of Troy in the first place.
No one is allowed to be more desireable than themselves according to boomers
Boomers are shitting themselves. Their parents lived in a time of normalized and socially acceptable pedophilia. Now that theyre in their late 60s to eary 80s they wish they could prey on high schoolers. They wish it was like the 60s and 70s and where their parents would throw them and gen x to rockers and wealthy business men at a whim. But those pesky gen xers and millennials thought it was weird when men in college where banging 13 and 14 year olds and put a cultural stop to it. They even went further and made it weird for men in their late 20s and 30s to fuck high schoolers at all. Whats a poor pedophilic boomer to do!
Honestly a horrible generation that refused to grow up.
Long story short: I've been hiring nannies while juggling two very young kids. I'm at home every day with my kids, but having an extra set of hands throughout the work week allows me to keep up with the housework and, most importantly, allows me to give each kid my full attention.
1. I was in a pinch to find someone to hire, so I ended up altering my schedule a bit to fit this one girls' needs. When I told her I didn't appreciate how I was being treated especially after I had altered MY schedule to fit HER needs, her response to me was "I didn't ask you to do that." Yup, immediately fired her upon hearing that. On top of that, I had caught her playing favorites with my kids. Unacceptable.
2. This other girl I never even met in person, lol. She was supposed to come into work for her literal first day, texted me at the last minute that she couldn't come because she had a migraine all night, and then said she was going to show up on Sunday for two hours to "make up for it." When I told her that I could understand the migraine, but it was unacceptable for her to just pick and choose whenever she decided to show up for work because we had clearly agreed on a basic Monday-Friday, 9-5 job, she cursed me out and told me I was "fuckin' crazy" and "lacking empathy." She even sent my husband private texts about how he should divorce me and take custody of the kids because I'm such a bitch.
I don't want to degrade a person's job, but being a nanny for me, quite frankly, is the easiest fucking job on the planet. Most nannies are expected to watch kids while both parents are at work every day. I'm at the house every single day, cooking every meal, changing most diapers, doing all of the housework ... I literally just want a second set of hands to entertain one of the kids while I'm with the other. And these Gen Z chicks have acted like I've asked them to move mountains, it's wild.
I have a very unfortunate sense of dread for the generation that's going to be raised by Zoomers. Zoomers aren't very social, they think everything is "cringe," they're entitled, they don't want to put any effort into anything ... Just not a very fun or inspired group of people. Imagine having that as your Mom. Holy fuck. The generation raised by Zoomers will absolutely need to have their fathers present, that's all I'm gonna say.
The Gen Alpha girl who is working for me right now has been great. She can only do part time, but she consistently shows up (so I can actually make and KEEP daily plans without worrying about her flaking at the last minute), is a great help while she's here, and has clearly bonded with my kids. She is rarely on her phone, too. I only see her using it when she's texting her parents to pick her up at the end of the day lol. I don't know if that's indicative of the whole of Gen Alpha ... But I hope it is.
A lot of the things people hate about Boomers are most certainly true ... But a lot of the Zoomers complaining about Boomers have placed themselves in a self-fulfilled prophecy of failure. "The Boomers should be retired, not still working! REEE!" Yeah, well, Gen Z is mostly un-hirable, and employers are looking for older people to hire these days because they still have a sense of work ethic. Boomers are taking the jobs Zoomers refuse to do. Yeah, a Boomer's attitude can be vexing to deal with ... But at least they show up to work.
Because 99% of the time its framed only as a carve out exemption for people over 65. It's never a blanket end to something, it's always everyone else has to keep paying the tax except the boomer because they're on fixed income.
I personally would love to not pay property tax anymore but they only suggest things that make my share to pay go up.
Sometimes I feel like a robot and I'm just supposed to keep going and not have any type of feelings about it. Not that you have it any better than me but my parents have money. And they use it as a weapon to get what they want from us.

YMMV, but I don't normally see women under 30 at my co-ed running socials. I'm not actually sure what, if anything, women about my age do. I'm not so convinced there will be much of a generation with zoomer moms if they're just bed rotting. Zoomer guys still show up. They look and behave fairly normally.
Now that's what I call conditional love, it's really no surprise that Millennials suffer from a narcissism problem. If you really loved your kids, their inheritance wouldn't be conditional on compliance to whatever shitty demands you're making or shitty behavior you refuse to change.
Because no one in my age bracket can afford a home the majority of them are owned by boomers who refuse to sell them and want to convert them into condos to rent to us. But are also bitching about paying property taxes. They've had a long enough free ride none of us will ever experience. And taxing my income is going to make it even harder to buy a house. This benefits me in absolutely no way nor anyone other than boomers.
Now if we abolished and didn't increase income? I'm fine with it. its the demanding income pay for it I do not like.
My Boomer mother in law inherited 55 grand and blew it on luxury vacations and trinkets. Spends hundreds on Amazon purchases a month. Yet she disapproves of me and my wife spending money on a couple pizza's and staying home and watching movies. She doesn't like that we have internet either. Doesn't like us paying for a service to stream movies. She doesn't understand why we need the internet. Now remember we both work, both handle our bills and rent and all the stupid little shit we have to. It's not her money. She does nothing to help us. She just disapproves of us doing anything that might make us happy. Why are they like this? Is no one under 65 allowed to be happy or what?

I often act as "the bodyguard" for female friends' girl's night outs and every single demographic understands that a group of girls that includes one guy with a look of boredom and resignation on his face usually means they aren't interested and leave them alone. Every demographic except fucking boomers. These disgusting fucks will straight up try get me to pimp my friends to them (as if they would be interested) and the minute they catch a klap they go off crying to management about how terrible the youth is today. Fucking perverts are the one of the reasons people under 30 don't go to bars anymore.
I’m in the same situation as you and I’m pleased to say I’ve had only great experiences with my nannies with one exception. I work hard to source and vet them, though. It helps that we live in a conservative area and near a college. Generally speaking, if someone can remain enrolled in college or goes to church regularly they’re a good bet.

I think this will be the main thing with Zoomers/gen alpha, compared to previous generations, how they are parented will lead to extreme differences in how they turned out on a much larger scale (compared to the normal dist. of extremes on a bell curve, for example).
Those with (or who seek) community and belonging with the stability it brings and actually stick with it irl (rejecting the hyperindividualism of the internet), vs those who fully embrace hyperindividualism and pass that chaos onto their children will feel worlds apart.
Try to go buy a chainsaw or Facebook marketplace 'cause we have an upcoming tree removal job. Go there. It doesn't work. The chain is rusted as shit. And the pictures were all. Of two years ago. Off the pile of the boomer for. 25% of the original agreed price starts cussing me out.
We have one boomer that we do a lot of work for. He's a cool dude. We recently had to remove his entire patio and he didn't know there was a bunch of concrete. Attached to the brick. So he gave us extra and bought us lunch. Cool dude.

This seems to be what my Dad is doing. I can't be sure because he's never outright used the words, "I'll disinherit you if you don't....". But he does seem to use his money as a weapon and has tried to drive a wedge between my sister and I with it. When I helped him clear out and sell his dilapidated house last year, there was 10s of thousands of dollars squirreled away in various hidey holes. He used to bury it up in the mountains but after he couldn't find it one time (and blamed me) I guess he decided to keep it at the house. Anyway, it was waterlogged due to the pipe burst. So I found myself in our motel room blow drying all that money with the motel hair dryer, I helped him count it and bundle it, drove him over 1k miles back to my house with it and several guns. It was kept safe and sound at my house for about a year until he decided it should be kept at my sister's house so he came and got it. This really pissed me off. I felt like again I was being accused of stealing it or considering stealing it so it was removed my possession and given to my apparently more trustworthy sister. I'm still pretty mad about it as I type this. Not only because of that but also because my Dad has a lot of money. That cash isn't all he has. He lives with us, part time at our house, and barely pays his way. In fact he has weaseled his way into free vacations, lunches out, and time spent here without paying despite his ability to do so. He stole my daughter's halloween candy last year. He will literally steal the food out of his grandkid's mouths and think it's okay to do so. He also refuses to let us claim him as a dependent on our taxes even though he doesn't even file. It's like he actually wants to make our lives more difficult, cause drama between my sister and I, freeload his way through life and feels entitled to our resources! It's actually insane. I wish I had better boundaries.
It does seem like they have an odd relationship with money. Had to have a rather painful conversation with my old man that he can't retire while he has outstanding debts... its questionable if he could even with them paid off. He wants the TV retirement where he was promised he could go traveling and relax on the beach all while never saving anything. He rarely was in debt but he lived a life of spending his money till his account was zero every month.
I can tell its going to be a ongoing drama explaining to him that you downgrade your spending in retirement not increase it. He seems determined to tour the EU for some bizzare reason.
I think he did find it the next weekend when he sobered up and went digging around for it. He's accused me of stealing money from him on more than one occasion. And I never have. I never would. And he's never apologized for his accusations and apparently still has a poor opinion of me. It's really gross. I try to be a good daughter and it doesn't even matter. He doesn't deserve my kindness but he sure feels entitled to it.
