Anyone here remember my painfully unpleasant Boomer mother in law? You might remember. Adopted a random couple to pretend they where her "good" daughter and son and law and fawn over their kid as her make believe grandchild. That psycho? Well guess who loves flock cameras and wants even more in our town. All because they make her feel safe. That's what it's all about. A Boomer's comfort and safety. It doesn't matter that they are willingly setting up a CCP style police state for your children and grandchildren to live under. That we may very well live to see the rise of an authoritarian state in the U.S where every moment of our day is recorded and monitored. Boomers got to enjoy a level of privacy and social freedom anyone under 65 cannot even imagine. Now in their fading years they want it gone in the name of safety. Just like with covid. It's all about preserving the Boomer's safety and comfort. Hell she even likes the idea of a CCP style social credit score. In her words,

"People would behave and follow all the rules if they had a social credit system to punish them for getting out of line"

These fucking hippies all turned into Marxist authoritarians. They just cannot stop shilling for a police state. What makes me so mad is they really did get to live in a prosperous safe high trust society without being surveilled and recorded in public 24/7. They had more freedom than anyone before and after them and in their dying years their final fuck you to rest of us will be to imprison us all in a CCP style surveillance state. One of the things I have always wanted to do since I was a kid is travel on one of those Art Deco era ocean liners of the 1920's and 30's. It's one of those things you dream of but will never do because that world hasn't existed since the late 1950s. To have that travel experience of being out at sea across the Atlantic on a floating Deco palace. How some Zoomers probably dream of traveling across the stars. Cunard still offers this but the new ships all look like floating motels and your fellow passengers? Rich old bored Boomers and I don't want to be trapped for five days on a ship full of nothing but them in a slightly fancy motel setting with a flow of alcohol on demand in their reach. Sounds like pure hell. It'd take about two days and I crashout. Hijack the bridge and purposefully ram us into a goddamn iceberg.

Born too late for a transatlantic liner crossing, born too soon for interstellar travel. Born just in time to sit on a shitty Caribbean or transatlantic cruise with a pack of drunken Boomers.
 
There are woke Boomers, but they are more about anti-consumerism and political liberalism. They don't understand deprivation. They will pretend that everyone should be very interested in social emotional values and that anything material is somehow less or bad. This is a generation that had extreme material wealth in their younger years relative to their children and grand children. This is due to the media and Boomers being dumb. The media is where newer ideas about deprivation and immigration come from with some Boomers. The reality of debt slavery and no social mobility or their children never being able to retire are completely lost on them. They accept uncritically any story in the news including sob stories about minorities. They are only caught up in the story. If this was in-person, they'd be mean to minority. This effects both conservative and liberal Boomer. Nancy Brophy is a great example: anti gun person, presumably Democrat, is so upset at some Hispanic crying when testifying. Because they are dumb their political fashions are more superficial. Both very patriotic. A generation of the dumbest most intransigent people and you can tell that was how they have always been because of how entitled they are, they expect this way of acting to go over well. Despicable.

God I hate the boomer half of Xers. Doing the “Vietnam” boomers do when it was like only a handful of them. GWOT was largely a millennial war. Theirs was desert storm. Xers would be ncos but the large bulk would be older millennials and young xers at the beginning. Then recruited millennials for the VERY long war after that

In her defense, it WOULD be great for public transit if niggers had to fear losing their Section 8 and food stamps for blasting shitty "music" and making calls on speaker on the train. It would also be nice if we could evict Boomers and stop their social security payments for Karen/Darren public freakouts.
 
I just saw a post from a distant relative who’s about 70—uncle’s ex-wife’s kid from a prior marriage type deal—about how he tried to meet up with a hooker he met on TikTok and got ripped off.

I know It Used To Be Different (c) (r) (tm) but to me, TikTok is “the app my slightly younger friends are always sending me videos from.” The mentality that it takes to both do that and then make a fb post about it is more alien to me than the life of an Uzbek herdsman.

Boomers start in 1946 (according the graph above, but I've seen other dates published), so in 1966 the first Boomer would have been 20 years old, the age where you really start to be independent and make your own decisions. Maybe the earliest born Boomers could have been Hippies, but it probably was a The Greatest Generation thing. You'd probably would have had to be born earlier to really catch the trend. I don't think Hippies turned into Communists. Hippies were anti-war and anti-establishment. All those ideas burned them selves out with all the attacks in the '60s and them being associated with drugs in the '70s and the negative connotation that brought. There were also overt Communists around before and after Hippies.

I try to stay out of the realm of conspiracy theory but the company that makes the damn cameras is based out of Israel and Larry Ellison's company Oracle is who's putting them all over the country.
